mibr hit back at critics

Made in Brazil have launched a scathing attack at the team's critics on their official website.

The Brazilian giants have been without a Counter-Strike squad since releasing their team in November after losing their number-one status in the country to FireGamers.

Since then, mibr have been linked with a return on multiple occasions, with FG and CnB Gaming both mooted as likely choices.

However, the 2006 ESWC champions have remained silenced on the matter amid statements from several FG players that they would refuse migrating to their former home.

Made in Brazil have been the subject of criticism from several community members in the country, and the organisation has now issued a statement in which it says there is absolutely no reason for such words.

"I see frustrated people making daily attacks at the members of the organisation and that makes me ask one question: what have mibr done to those people?," a mibr statement read.

"The answer is simple: without mibr, the dream of being a professional player and travelling around the world while playing a videogame is over, unless you consider being professional making less than minimum wage."

Although the organisation states that things "will be done" in the future, it refused to comment on the possibility of a new CS team joining any time soon.

"Our true fans are sure that they do not want a weak line-up, just to have one, they want a great team, like we used them to, not necessarily a winning team, but a competitive one, and sadly in recent times we did not have that, but we kept investing and the frustrateds kept criticizing.

"mibr do not want your gratitude, much less your trust or respect, the only thing we recommend is that you have good sense and not just with a CS team, but with your lives, because frustration is an invisible danger that could affect your health."

not only it's what you get every month, minimum wage MUST be understood as the minimum amount of money you should get to have a proper and decent way of living btw I thin k it's important that poeple know what it means, really

minimum wage is the minimum salary that can be given to any registered brazilian worker... it changes constantly and is currently at R$510 (approximately 293 dollars).

they might as well close down the organisation, i cant see any team living up to their huge expectations now or even ever, unless perhaps if they'd bring in FG, which they wont.

Brazil got several great players, which can create awesome lineup and competetive team MiBR is the only organisation in Brazil that is able to send players to Europe, USA or Asia to attend events. So my question is... WHAT'S THE MATTER?!?!

wasnt it like the team owner said that the team will be cogu+4 and the team didnt like cogus attitude... so no wonder that fg players refuse any offer now i realy like brasilian teams but mibr seams to be a very bad orga sad thats its the only orga who can send teams to international events

cogu's the best brazilian player of all time, and probably the best awp of all time. i don't blame them for wanting to back him over every other player in brazil, considering how much money was on the line.

the main problem was giving cogu the total control of the team in turn he made a team which he liked but not the team which people thought would be the best to represent Brazil.

It certainly was not the organization "MiBR" but a person who felt entitled to criticize and say something, simply because an anonymous user questions about the team. I think it lacked a certain humility.

MiBR behavior wasn't professional on the past two years. By changing lineup after every event they will never be able to bring in results. It's not easy at all to come from a country like Brazil, when you don't have the chance to pracc against the top european teams, then bootcamp for one week in Stockholm (Inferno-Online) and get a good result in a big LAN where those top teams parcitipates. Take EG for example, on the first year they played like crap and no one believed in them. When they brought lurppis in, an experianced european player, they started to shine slowly slowly and now they are one of the top teams in the world for sure. So maybe that's what MiBR needs? a good european leader, like they used to have (elemeNt) and a stable lineup.
