Jee to miss TYLOO's opener at FISSURE Playground

TYLOO will not be at full strength when they kick off their campaign against Virtus.pro.

FISSURE has announced that Dongkai "⁠Jee⁠" Ji is set to miss TYLOO's opening game at FISSURE Playground 1 as he is "currently waiting on his passport with a German visa." The tournament organizer have said he will join the team "as soon as possible," suggesting he could miss more of the event.

The Chinese side will be utilizing their coach, WeiJie "⁠zhokiNg⁠" Zhong as a stand-in whilst they await Jee's arrival.

The news comes as a blow to a TYLOO squad who ended last season in strong form, winning Hero Esports Asian Champions League and XSE Pro League before making a run to the second stage of BLAST.tv Austin Major.

Whilst their hopes of starting this season off with a bang have been dented, their coach zhokiNg is less than a year removed from playing professionally for TYLOO, his last game coming in August 2024. As such the Chinese squad are in better stead than many other teams would be if they were forced to field their coach.

TYLOO face a stiff test in their first matchups, however, as they are set to kick off their campaign in Serbia against Virtus.pro, who recently bolstered their ranks with the signing of Ilya "⁠Perfecto⁠" Zalutskiy.
