FISSURE Playground 1MIBR eliminate Virtus.pro from FPG in last place
electroNic's side failed to tally a map win in their debut event with Perfecto.
Virtus.pro are out of FISSURE Playground 1 after suffering a loss to MIBR in the Group C losers' match, bringing their first event with Ilya "Perfecto" Zalutskiy to an early end.
The Brazilians recovered from a 3-9 deficit on Train by giving up just one round in the second half, and stormed to victory on Mirage to give themselves a shot at making the playoffs in the decider match against the loser of Astralis vs. TYLOO.

VP and Perfecto fall flat on debut
Virtus.pro's campaign in Belgrade ends with a whimper after they failed to tally a single map win, losing in disastrous fashion to a hamstrung TYLOO in their opener.
The Chinese team had to field their coach WeiJie "zhokiNg" Zhong in place of Dongkai "Jee" Ji due to visa issues but still proved too much for Denis "electroNic" Sharipov's side to overcome, while MIBR tallied their first series win with Nicollas "nicks" Polonio to cast Virtus.pro out.
Perfecto ended the event averaging a 0.87 rating over four maps, a far cry from the type of consistency he regularly showed when he was named as 2022's Anchor of the Year, and electroNic's individual struggles since taking up leadership duties also continued as he ended the event on a 0.79 rating.
saffee stars on Train with 2.53 CT rating
MIBR's recovery on Train was led by Rafael "saffee" Costa, who swung the momentum his team's way on the CT side by following up an anti-eco ace with an AWP quad kill to leave Virtus.pro destitute.
His dominance carried through the rest of that CT side effort as he posted a 2.53 rating, 4-1 record in opening duels, and 156.7 ADR to turn the game on its head, and saffee continued to be a thorn in Virtus.pro's side on Mirage, going 4-0 in openers and posting a 1.58 rating.
MIBR were up 5-1 on the map before Virtus.pro responded and evened the score at the break, but were overwhelmed by saffee's aggression in the second pistol round and excellence from Breno "brnz4n" Poletto on the offense as the Brazilians stormed to victory.
