BetBoom consign HEROIC to early exit in Belgrade
nilo and gr1ks' debuts on HEROIC end with an early exit from FISSURE Playground 1.

HEROIC are out of FISSURE Playground 1 after losing 1-2 to BetBoom in the Group D elimination match.
The Russian side is playing the event with Artem "ArtFr0st" Kharitonov as a stand-in after benching Aleksandr "zorte" Zagodyrenko, and were cast down to the elimination match after being reverse-swept by Complexity in their opener.
They'll have a shot at making the playoffs in the group decider match against the loser of Complexity vs. BIG after scraping past HEROIC in a series that went the distance, needing nearly every regulation round to settle the score.

nilo and gr1ks debuts spoiled
HEROIC arrived in Serbia sporting a new roster after benching Yasin "xfl0ud" Koç in the off-season and losing Álvaro "SunPayus" García and coach Eetu "sAw" Saha to G2.
The team brought in Gleb "gr1ks" Gazin from Astrum to replace the Spanish sniper, added Tobias "TOBIZ" Theo as coach, and brought promising Swedish talent Linus "nilo" Bergman back from the bench to refill its ranks, but had its debut come to a sullen end after losses to BIG and BetBoom consigned them to a last-place exit.

The organization signed the Swede in January, but he was immediately moved to the bench due to personal circumstances and didn't record an official in 2025 until returning to the activity for FISSURE.
Despite showing flashes of brilliance, nilo struggled to play up to his old level in Belgrade, tallying a middling 1.01 rating in the loss to BIG and finishing at the bottom of the board against BetBoom with a 0.90 rating. gr1ks also struggled in his debut, posting a 0.92 rating in the first series and 1.00 in the second to begin his stint in HEROIC on a sour note.
BetBoom show resilience
BetBoom started the series down 2-10 on their pick of Nuke, but came alive on the defense by shutting down uninspired executes and defaults from HEROIC to close the gap before the comeback was shut down at the eleventh hour.
Warmed up heading into Ancient, Kirill "Boombl4" Mikhailov's side recovered from 1-4 down to lead 7-4, and then halted a recovery effort from HEROIC in the second half to close out, 13-10. Anubis was more scrappy as HEROIC led early on the attack, only for BetBoom to seize firm control after the swap thanks to a 2.16-rated half from Pavel "S1ren" Ogloblin.
