Jee: "We want to be higher than 2018 TYLOO"
"We need to focus on ourselves and enjoy the game, enjoy every round," he said about tomorrow's final. "If you want to win the final, you can't think too much."

TYLOO locked up a spot in Sunday's final of FISSURE Playground 1 after defeating SAW 2-0, extending a fantastic winning run that had seen them win their opening three matches with head coach WeiJie "zhokiNg" Zhong standing in for Dongkai "Jee" Ji.
The Chinese AWPer showed no signs of rust in his first match in Belgrade as he averaged a 1.30 rating to help TYLOO over the line in a highly contested series.
"I just wanted to fly to Serbia," Jee told HLTV after the match. "I wanted to play with my teammates and my coach. I'd check my phone. 'Where's my passport? Where's my passport?' But my teammates won every match without me.
"They are the best. I love them. I love my teammates. I love my coach. zhokiNg is a legendary coach."
TYLOO have moved up five positions in the VRS to 14th since the start of the tournament, and Jee is setting his sights on surpassing the organization's 2018 roster, which peaked at No.10 in the world ranking and reached the final of IEM Shanghai.

"I want to be in the top 10," he said. "2018 was the best TYLOO. captainMo, DD, xccurate, BnTeT, somebody. In 2018 they were top 10, right? So in 2025 we want to be higher."
A win tomorrow would go a long way towards that, but Jee said he is not obsessed with the outcome. He simply wants his team to seize the moment.
"We can't think too much about the final," he said. "We need to focus on ourselves and enjoy the game, enjoy every round. If you want to win the final, you can't think too much. If you think too much, you'll lose."
Jee, you’re finally here in Belgrade. You came and you instantly helped the team reach the final. How does it feel?
I feel happy and excited because this is the final. Chinese CS is not the strongest. We can't think too much about the final. We need to focus on ourselves and enjoy the game, enjoy every round. If you want to win the final, you can't think too much. If you think too much, you'll lose.
You couldn’t play the first three matches because of visa issues. Was it hard to watch the team from a distance and not be able to play?
When I was in China, I felt sad and rushed by time. I'd wake up and check my phone. I just wanted to fly to Serbia. I wanted to play with my teammates and my coach. I'd check my phone. 'Where's my passport? Where's my passport?' But my teammates won every match without me. They are the best. I love them. I love my teammates. I love my coach. zhokiNg is a legendary coach.
I wanted to get your thoughts on JamYoung, who is having a fantastic year. It feels like he's only getting better and better. And not too long ago, he was very close to leaving for VALORANT.
He is a very smart and hard-working player. He is confident in himself. I think he is the best Chinese player ever, but he needs time to realize his potential. Right now, somebody is still the legend in terms of results. But JamYoung will be the Chinese GOAT in the future. I trust him.

You are now inside the top 15 in the VRS, which will help you get more invites in the future. How far do you think the team can go this year?
I want to be in the top 10. 2018 was the best TYLOO. captainMo, DD, xccurate, BnTeT, somebody. In 2018 they were top 10, right? So in 2025 we want to be higher.
That 2018 TYLOO team went to the final of IEM Shanghai. What would it mean to you and the Chinese community to win that tournament tomorrow?
I think more Chinese people would play Counter-Strike and there would be more organizations and more professional players. China doesn't have a lot of professional players or organizations. In China, it's only Lynn Vision, TYLOO and Rare Atom. We need more strong teams in China. But in China, a lot of people play CS. It's a famous game.
You're going up against the winner of Astralis and BetBoom next. Are you confident you can win?
Of course. We are always confident. We don't care who we play tomorrow. Even if we have to face Vitality, we will still be confident. We have to be confident in ourselves, trust ourselves, trust each other, and enjoy the game. I think that's all. I don't care if we win or lose tomorrow. We just want to enjoy it.
