MistR rejoins the team he played for in 2024

Sashi has announced the signing of Mikkel "⁠MistR⁠" Thomsen, rounding out a roster that was without a stable fifth since the benching of longtime in-game leader Oliver "⁠IceBerg⁠" Berg in June.

The 21-year-old returns to the team he played with in 2024 after two-and-a-half years in the Astralis organization, which included a short stint on the main team in September-December 2022.

"After a rather turbulent period of time, we’ve finally secured our future lineup, concluded by MistR, who is returning to Sashi Esport again," says coach Nicolai "⁠HUNDEN⁠" Petersen. "I’ve personally missed Mikkel’s high level and good spirits. He possesses a big drive to be the best, and is willing to put in the extra effort to get there."

Initially, the benched IGL was replaced with Andreas "⁠kiR⁠" Kirstein, but he decided to step away from competitive Counter-Strike less than a month after joining the team, and Patrick "⁠Patti⁠" Larsen was brought on as a stand-in at European Esports Championship.

Now, MistR will be plugging that gap, but the in-game leadership will fall on Casper "⁠Cabbi⁠" Jensen. "I believe that Casper is a great fit for the role, and I’m looking forward to having him as a more active voice on the team," HUNDEN adds, "something we’ve already tested out recently during IESF and the closed qualifier of ESL Pro League."

Så you do see that stats of the NA "biggest" cs2 team right.????. they cant even win against semi pro teams in na.. that is a dead projekt and its a fact.... Pain will show the small part of the world who thinks Liquid is something, even close to top 50 hltv rank.. Good some Talent on the team but no way they gonna play together next seson

LMAO Sashi Org management might be One of the Worst in the PRO SCENE. DID great in that 1 major, top 10~ 2023 i think Do BAD for 2 years almost. Now get Patti , and become better instantly , WINS BO3s vs Liquid , Fnatic , ex-NAVI jr. Almost wins vs TNL 14-16 --->> Winner of ESL PRO LEAGUE... not a bad team , just not known yet in the scene. DECIDES TO KICK PATTI lmao. MistR isn´t that bad.... but worst than his CSGO version.. If you want MistR so bad.. its not Patti you need to kick .... this management lacks alot of experience.

I agree with you that Patti would have been a good addition to keep as IGL, but he wasnt exactly kicked since he was only a stand-in. And I honenstly dont know if he would want to stay on sashi. When he got kicked from the team a few years back he revealed in an interview that he had some clashes with the management, and I think its still the same person that he very publicy made clear he didnt like to work with. (dust2.dk/nyheder/30638/raser-efter-exit-.. , the interview is in danish but the summary is that team Sashi is owned by a danish streamer (and the son of the owner of a meat import company, where the team gets their name from) called doktoren. Patti accused him of wrecking the team and being unproffesional when he got kicked, so you might be right that the management lacks experience and expertise) To be fair I dont know if these things could have been resolved since its been like three years Patti got kicked from Sashi

Only Salazar and Nodios are playing togheter... from this Ecstatic roster on CPH hltv.org/events/7148/pgl-cs2-major-copen.. They have a worst team now.. kraghen is on 9INE who is imploding... every roster change gets worst Queenix benched on Tricked.. PATTI teamless... They could do the 4 players for free... they already have 2 + 1 benched. Get Patti for free and kraghen buyout is not that expensive.. Or get other riffler .. In denmark theres so many to choose
