IEM Cologne 2025 Stage 13DMAX breeze past MIBR in Cologne
The French side cruised to victory with a 13-5 demolition on Ancient.
3DMAX have defeated MIBR in a dominant two-map series (Train 13-9, Ancient 13-5) to move one win away from the IEM Cologne Stage 2.
The French squad now awaits the winner of HEROIC vs. Ninjas in Pyjamas in the qualifying match, set to be played on Thursday.
The series started on Train, where 3DMAX secured victory thanks to a strong T side. Lucas "Lucky" Chastang's multikills were crucial in opening up MIBR's site holds, which couldn't withstand the test despite new boy Nicollas "nicks" Polonio showing signs of potential.
Ancient was a different story, as the Frenchmen dominated from start to finish. A 10-2 offensive half was followed up by MIBR's pistol-round win that prolonged the inevitable, but 3DMAX took over once their economy allowed it and closed out a comfortable 13-5 victory.
This is 3DMAX third straight 2-0 victory against MIBR in 2025, as the French squad continue to hold their status as 'tier-one guardians.'
