IEM Cologne 2025 Stage 1insani's heroics mean little as MIBR exit Cologne
The Brazilian posted 116.6 ADR but MIBR could only win 10 rounds over two maps.
HEROIC have got their first win since the summer break after eliminating MIBR from IEM Cologne.
The young Tobias "TOBIZ" Theo-led roster (they have an average age of just 21.6) have struggled to click after losing Eetu "sAw" Saha and enacting a full role swap on T side for star player Andrey "tN1R" Tatarinovich, yet had more than enough to overpower the Brazilians.
But tN1R was improved in today's match, with 87.8 ADR over the two maps in his best series since the role swap.
There was also a big Five-SeveN moment for Linus "nilo" Bergman, who is looking to improve on a 1.00 rating in his first 10 maps with HEROIC after a six month break from competition.
New AWPer Gleb "gr1ks" Gazin also showed his quality in a 2v4 in the best blueprint for the new HEROIC roster we have seen yet.
The team will now face Virtus.pro for a spot in Cologne's main event.

A familiar story for a superstar in a mediocre team
Felipe "insani" Yuji must be getting tired of this by now. He had a 1.34 rating in four maps at Cologne despite MIBR losing all of them and mustering a tournament-low round win percentage of 31.6%.
The organization have tried to upgrade the team's firepower, with signings like that of Lucas "Lucaozy" Neves, but role overlap with insani meant that fragging support never arrived for the 21-year-old.
The new constellation, with supportive rifler Nicollas "nicks" Polonio, is having similar issues with big questions over where the fragging power could come from if the team want to accomplish any of their goals this year.
