fnatic and SK face off in Grand Final

SK Gaming and fnatic will be facing each other in the Grand Final at Arbalet Arena Female Cup.

The most interesting semi-final on paper, featuring mousesports and fnatic, turned out to be a one-sided affair, with fnatic pulling out on top. Starting on de_dust2, fnatic secured a 16-9 victory, in a fight where the Russians saw themselves eliminated by Sophie "inzane" Regner, in a round where fnatic had eco. On second map de_tuscan the Russian had a bit more to give, still fnatic won with a similar scoreline, winning 16-10.

The North-Americans grabbed the last spot in the Grand Final, following a 2-0 win against Alternate. Alternate actually had the lead a long time on first map de_inferno, but the defending ESWC championship stepped it up and turned the momentum their way, winning 16-13. Second map de_dust2 saw SK perform really well as terrorists, winning 13-2 and victory was not far away.

The Grand Final will be a fight for who gets to go home with a shiny trophy, five gold medals, products worth $5,000 and a $10,000 cheque. Runners-up will be comforted with products worth $3,000, a cheque of $5,000 and five silver medals.

Alternate will face mousesports for the bronze, a match where the winner will receive products worth $2,000 and a $3,000 cheque. Fourth place finisher and loser of the match, will walk away with $2,000.
