WCG announce Singapore qualifier

The World Cyber Games organisers have announced the first offline WCG Singapore 2010 qualifier.

The event will be hosted through the Funan league, where it will be possible to qualify in eight games. Regarding Counter-Strike 1.6, seven slots are still free, so to everyone residing in Singapore: be sure to sign up.

The qualifier will take place at the massive Funan DigitalLife Mall, near the Civic District in Singapore. As the mall has a total retail floor area of 269,806 square feet, it is set for a great show. 

Registration closing date is set to the 7th of June, while the event itself is scheduled to 11-13th of June. Teams wishing to sign up will have to do so through the Rapture Gaming's office. And remember, registrants are required to make a call before making their way down to enquire about the validity of slots left for the qualifier.

There is qualifier in Ukraine/Russia/Sweden because there a lot of top teams but Singapore has ONE decent team,so no point doing it unless they do it last, and other teams that want a easy ticket can go there because Titans maybe a good team but not TOP 10. EXAMPLE : Let say Na'Vi Wasn't Invited,Ok so they go to Singapore and beat everyone there and get the ticket anyway.

It's not KODE5 dude.. only team from that country (here Singapore) can attend qualifer. It's World Championships, so all countries have right to put their best team in competition. And so what there's only one team in Singapore that can even compere? Others players cant have chance to do it? Lets say some team just beat TitaNs. It's chance for them firstly to travel to USA and then to compere with best teams in the world. Isnt it all about? We all know that there are just few teams that really goes there to win WCG, but for the rest is a chance to shine and to have theirs dreams come true just by attending such tournament like WCG!

Well maybe if you look at CS part its looks a waste, but maybe there are a lot of top world class teams from Singapore in other games that worth the qualifier anyways GL HF..
