XANTARES returns to Aurora's active lineup

The Turkish rifler is back "for all the next tournaments" after missing IEM Cologne.

Ismailcan "⁠XANTARES⁠" Dörtkardeş will return to Aurora's active lineup for the team's upcoming tournaments after missing IEM Cologne due to "family reasons," the organization has announced.

The Turkish team played the German event with Yasin "⁠xfl0ud⁠" Koç as a stand-in, defeating Ninjas in Pyjamas in their opener before being eliminated in 9-12th following 0-2 losses to Spirit and FaZe.

It was the second time that Aurora failed to reach the playoffs of an event this year after their spring season ended with a 1-3 exit at the BLAST.tv Austin Major.

They'll look to turn that around with XANTARES back in tow for BLAST Bounty Season 2, where Aurora will face FlyQuest in the opening round of the online stage.

Approximately one year ago, during the Skyesports 2024 Championship, XANTARES’s daughter was born, but he couldn’t be with his wife and child for that special moment.
