DarkPassage wins DH Turkey qual

The Turkish DreamHack qualifier has been concluded, seeing DarkPassage walk away with the victory.

This weekend, the Turkish DreamHack Summer qualifier was held in Turkey's largest city, Istanbul, at the Adeks gaming center. The tournament saw a total of sixteen teams attend, but no teams were a match for DarkPassage.

DarkPassage had no problems making it to the Grand Final, nor did the last match turn out to be an obstacle either. Meeting dynasty on de_train, DarkPassage easily secured a 16-3 win.

This leaves the Turkish DreamHack qualifier standings as following:

1. Turkey DarkPassage (venza, xylm, cool, marqnue, prostar)
2. Turkey dynasty (barkN, BLUEWYF, slapshot, siariks, TAZ)
3. Turkey Destiny (Fabre, merentz, stateD, velixa, vengeance)

With this, DarkPassage have made it to the list of attending teams for DreamHack Summer 2010.

First of all good luck in finals DP. But our problem is lack of practises I think. I went to Adeks gaming center early of the day. I talked to officer of Adeks (not chris) and he said : Teams closed the area and practised a lot at the last day. I dunno which team. How would they do this at the end of the time ? One day ago ? dynasty splitted up some time ago but they made a comeback and beat lots of teams. This shows how much other teams are prepared and professional imo. There is no option be distinguished by Europe. Some group of players were saying: "We didn't play deathmatch enough and didn't watch demos(especially for anti-strat). If they don't these how can they manage to qualify? DarkPassage is the most experienced team in Turkey. Another matter is swapping players as hell. Even top teams often change their lineups. Players don't fit, family problems etc. All of their excuses are same. Thanks for Adeks&oyunguru's help. And if you really want to know more about our scene, you should look at www.oyunguru.com.
