BLAST Bounty quarter-final matchups set

The four lower-ranked squads chose their opponents for the top-eight stage.

Season 1 champions Spirit will face Virtus.pro

The BLAST Bounty S2 2025 quarter-final matchups have been determined with the help of a draft system, which allowed the four lowest-ranked squads, namely Aurora, Astralis, Virtus.pro, and Liquid, to choose their opponents.

Aurora were first to pick and decided to go for The MongolZ. "It's a really great team. We like their style, a little bit like us, so it's going to be a spicy match," Engin "⁠MAJ3R⁠" Küpeli said about the decision.

Virtus.pro were up next, and they picked Spirit as their opponents. "Three superteams left," Ivan "⁠F_1N⁠" Kochugov shared. "We wanted to pick MongolZ, we played Vitality and MOUZ in previous tournaments, but we didn't play Spirit."

Astralis then decided to go for MOUZ. "Our matches against MOUZ have been really close and good games, so we're feeling pretty confident," Casper "⁠ruggah⁠" Due said.

That meant that Liquid were left with Vitality as their opponents, but Kamil "⁠siuhy⁠" Szkaradek found a silver lining in that. "It's a really good game to see how we're progressing as a team. Our goal is to become a consistent team in the future, and all these games are going to help us."
