TYLOO send Astralis packing from EWC
The third meeting between the two teams this season ended just like the first two, with TYLOO scraping by in a narrow victory.

In a repeat of the two teams' meetings from the FISSURE Playground 1 grand final, TYLOO made it three for three against Astralis to send them packing from the Esports World Cup in the Round of 16.
The Chinese squad moves on to play the winner of Vitality vs. Liquid in the quarter-finals, a game scheduled for Thursday at 16:15 .

TYLOO worked hard for the series win after looking outclassed to start by a Victor "Staehr" Staehr firing on all cylinders throughout Astralis' dominant CT side of Inferno.
Their series-equalizing Overpass victory came thanks to an inspired T side on the otherwise heavily CT-favored map, with a 7-1 on the offense securing a decider, but it was Train where TYLOO truly had to fight back.
They looked down and out when their T side got off to an atrocious start, but Qianhao "Moseyuh" Chen came up clutch with four consecutive multi-kill rounds to give the Chinese team a fighting chance going over to the defense.
There, TYLOO put their stamp on the map despite giving up a 3v1 to Jakob "jabbi" Nygaard's deagle in round 2, with YuanZhang "Attacker" Sheng and Moseyuh stopping Astralis repeated approaches from T main.
The 20-year-old ended the map on 26 kills and a +10% Round Swing, stepping up just as TYLOO needed him most for a hard-fought series win.
"Worst game with this roster" from device
Following the match, Nicolai "device" Reedtz took to X to call his performance his worst since the team added Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen late last season.
"Worst game by me with this roster, lost because of me," he said.
He ended the series on a 0.93 rating, and will particularly end up ruing the final round of Train, where he had a trade kill in a 2v1 handed to him on a silver platter but missed to give Dongkai "Jee" Ji a chance at the last clutch.
In a later comment to HLTV, the AWPer shared his frustration with his misses throughout the game. "Just really sad or frustrated, I think I could have made the difference in a lot of rounds. [...] I think about a lot of those misses with the AWP, and I am frustrated about that."
