frozen: "It's been a messy year; we're just trying to get back to the top"
The Slovakian rifler remained tight-lipped on FaZe's upcoming roster change.

FaZe announced the shock signing of Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken on Saturday, but didn't disclose whose spot on the roster the Canadian will take over.

Following FaZe's win against 3DMAX at FISSURE Playground 2, David "frozen" Čerňanský remained coy on the upcoming roster changes and insisted the team is focused on winning the trophy in Belgrade.
Listen to the audio here.
First of all, congrats on the win today. The first map didn't go to plan, but then it felt like you really took control after that. How was the game from your perspective?
The first map, I don't think we were really that awake. There've been some messy rounds and I mean, they just got away with it. They are also a number-six team in the world at the moment, so, you know, I think they're also on the upwards trajectory lately. But yeah, as you said, on the last two maps, we took control and we showed how good we can play.
I have to ask about yesterday's bombshell, right, about Twistzz returning to the team. Why did the team feel that they needed another roster change after getting broky back and adding jcobbb?
I'm not gonna do any comments to that.
Can you say if the change is performance-based or is it happening due to some other factors?
No comment as well.
In general, after a period of results that wasn't to the level of a team like FaZe, do you feel like you are still not where you want to be despite these two previous roster changes?
It has been a messy year as well. Lots of changes, steps back, some steps forward as well. But yeah, we're just trying to get back to the top, you know?
jcobbb feels like he's like an FPL kind of player, I guess you could say. A lot of flair, good aiming… How do you feel he has adapted so far and how is the team doing with such a different player on the roster?
I feel like jcobbb is adapting very well. I mean, he's shooting hard, he's not afraid to take duels. He's just running in and killing people, which is great to see. It has been a pleasure so far to see him doing this well, and I mean, honestly, he's just gonna do better with every tournament and every game, I feel like.
I feel like you can see that, right? Because at the start, he was more subdued on the server and didn't go for that many plays. But now, especially today, he got a lot of really crisp entries. It feels like a very quick adaptation by him, do you feel the same?
Yeah, for sure. As I said, he's very skilled and he's a very open-minded and chill guy. It has been a pleasure so far.
With this being someone's last tournament for FaZe before Twistzz comes in. How important is it for you guys to end on a high?
We're coming for the trophy, you know? It's always important, we just want to win the trophy.
