FalleN: "We need more stability, but on a good day we can win tournaments"
FURIA have made their second semi-final in a row at FISSURE Playground 2.

FURIA entered FISSURE Playground 2 as one of the outside favorites for the title, and Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo's troops have met those expectations so far.
A win against Astralis means they have now qualified for their second semi-final in a row, with FalleN saying that the team is taking important steps forward in a post-match interview with HLTV.
"We were always in playoffs, failing, in playoffs, failing, so now we've made it twice, which is important for us," the Brazilian captain said after getting the better of the Danish squad.

Another playoff, another top four. In the end it got quite close, but how do you feel about the game overall?
The game was great, I think they had so many multi-kills on the first map. I felt like we were making such small mistakes and they were capitalizing so much, like Staehr had an ace and then had some more triple kills, so the game got very hard on the T side, but we were able to put up a solid defense and won the first map. The second map wasn't any different; we had to go multiple overtimes, there were so many clutch situations, and it was a great game to play. I believe that watching it was great as well.
I wanted to ask about the first map. KSCERATO had another great game on Train, and I think his average over the last three months is 1.32 on the map now. Is it nice to have a player that really enjoys the map and is a specialist on it?
KSCERATO has always been a very good player, I think he's the Brazilian player who has been the most stable in the top 20, and we're still hoping to lift trophies with him. To see him play so well in the group stage and now bringing that into the playoffs was very important for us. He's our key player, and when he's playing like he did today, it's much easier for us to do our jobs.
Your coach talked about you gaining some experience in arena matches. Is this tournament another good chance to do that, even if it's a smaller crowd?
Yeah, definitely. For example, today was a big lesson, all those multi-kills that I mentioned, I think most of the time those things don't happen, you get the kills and then people are eventually going to trade the next guy and then you just keep going. But in playoff games, you've got to make sure that they have the smallest chance or opportunity window to do stuff like that. So after leaving the first game, we got the impression that we need to be a little bit more calm in the next 2-3 seconds and not have too much tunnel vision in the next step in order for us to guarantee that those things will not happen.
There's always a learning experience in every game we play, and the stage does bring a little bit of that. We have definitely played a lot of stages. I think the only one that hasn't played much in arenas yet is molodoy, but all the other players have played so many games. But still, as a group we need to get those things together, so everyone goes through this experience together and gets some understanding and experience as a group to deal with things better.
Talking about the team overall. You have improved pretty quickly since adding molodoy and YEKINDAR and made a lot of playoffs. But is the team now at a point where just qualifying for playoffs is not enough anymore?
I think not yet. I think playoffs are still very good for us. One funny thing, it's the first time that we've reached playoffs two times in a row, for example. We were always playoffs, failing, playoffs, failing, so now we made it twice, which is important for us. I think we need more stability, but on a good day we can win tournaments, that's already there. Of course, we need more stability, we need more games, we need to play other better teams, but in the end just knowing that we're going through this process, and getting close to where we want to be, is amazing.

Tomorrow you will face either Falcons or paiN. Do you have a preference for the game?
Honestly, I prefer to play paiN. I think Falcons are the better team, unfortunately, in that scenario, and they played an amazing group stage and they have better players on paper. But I know paiN can bring the magic. I hope they will win the next game and we can have a Brazilian team in the finals guaranteed, that would be amazing. I'm cheering for paiN, but I think it's going to be Falcons.
