NAVI and NIP set for upper bracket final clash as StarSeries Fall day two concludes

Passion UA and PARIVISION dropped to the lower bracket and will fight for their tournament lives.

Day two of StarLadder StarSeries Fall concluded with Natus Vincere fending off a comeback by Passion UA on Inferno to sweep the series 2-0, earning a spot in the upper bracket final against Ninjas in Pyjamas.

Marco "⁠Snappi⁠" Pfeiffer's side had dispatched of PARIVISION with relative ease earlier in the day, while 9INE and OG were sent packing from the tournament after losses to Gentle Mates and B8, respectively, in the lower bracket.

Excellence from Drin "⁠makazze⁠" Shaqiri and Ihor "⁠w0nderful⁠" Zhdanov powered Natus Vincere to a dominant 10-2 lead on Train, a result of Passion UA struggling to get out Yard and getting outread by Aleksi "⁠Aleksib⁠" Virolainen's troops.

The win was sealed shortly into the second half after Natus Vincere robbed a round with only Deagles, and their dominance carried into Inferno, where Valeriy "⁠b1t⁠" Vakhovskiy and makazze ran rampant on the T side.

A 1v3 clutch by the Ukrainian rifler added insult to injury with Passion UA down 2-10 at the half again, and though they mounted a comeback, the deficit was too much to overcome in the end as NAVI closed out with a saved AWP, an MP9, and pistols.

It was a more confident showing than in the team's opener against 9INE, where they needed three maps to get the job done, with Mihai "⁠iM⁠" Ivan showing a better account of himself after starting the event with a 0.67-rated series.

The job will only get harder with a match against an in-form Ninjas in Pyjamas ahead, who handled OG and PARIVISION with aplomb to sit just one match away from the grand final.

Passion UA will be fighting for their tournament lives against B8 on Saturday, with the full schedule and matchups for the day as follows:
