MoDo joins 9INE on short-term contract

The Romanian player will continue with 9INE for the time being.

MoDo has been playing with 9INE since June

9INE has announced the continuation of Mădălin-Andrei "⁠MoDo⁠" Mirea on the team on a short-term contract. This comes after the Romanian 22-year-old has been playing with the team since June.

MoDo was benched in OG from February to September, when he finally parted ways with the organization. He had, however, already been allowed to play with 9INE, who have now handed him a short-term contract.

During his time in 9INE, the AWPer helped the team finish third at Glitched Masters 2025, fourth in ESL Challenger League Season 50, seventh-eighth at StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2025, first at Birch Cup, and then a narrow second to fnatic at Fragadelphia Blocktober.

Raalz was talking about wanting to return to the major after not being there for 10 years, his chances have never been better on Overpass, but unfortunately MoDo had to drop a nuclear stinker! Sad!

Brother, sorry to interrupt but this young fellow had less opportunities than broki on appear and gain lan experience. You really gotta take all factors in consideration, this team just got him for two lans, pressure that your new team depends on you, ot pressure. He’s definitely not mentally there but he’s got the time to be decent, its not skill issue. He did carry them in fragadelphia if i remember correctly previously this series. Sorry for your bet loss though.

Big props to them for giving him a chance even though he arguably lost them the major spot. He did alright before that and team coherence is much more important than one bad result
