B8 head to 2-0 pool over 3DMAX at end of PGL Masters day two
fnatic were also sent down to the elimination round after a loss to FlyQuest.

The second day of PGL Masters Bucharest has wrapped with B8 heading to the 2-0 advancement pool after beating 3DMAX in a two-map series, scraping a 13-11 victory on Ancient before showing up in force on Inferno to hand the Frenchman a loss on their specialist map.

The Ancient win took grit, with B8 turning a 1-5 deficit to post five rounds at the break and securing a force-buy victory after losing the pistol in the second half. Winning all four clutches went a long way in that recovery, with Artem "kensizor" Kapran bagging two and Dmytro "esenthial" Tsvir finding one early to pull back a 2v5.
The pair topped the charts for B8 with 1.18 and 1.69 ratings, respectively, with the latter ending the map with a +8.84% Round Swing to boot before Andrii "npl" Kukharskyi took over on Inferno (21-10 K-D, +9.08% Round Swing, 1.73 rating) to sweep the series.

Aurora recovered from a double overtime loss on Mirage by reverse-sweeping Liquid on Train and Dust2 in their 1-0 matchup, led yet again by a server-topping performance by Ali "Wicadia" Haydar Yalçın.
HEROIC also joined the 2-0 pool with a win over BetBoom, while Astralis beat MIBR 2-0 to head into the 1-1 round after losing to B8 on day one.

FlyQuest added misery to fnatic's tournament run, which began with a 0-2 loss to Aurora, by sending them down to the elimination pool after narrowly closing out 13-11 wins on Inferno and Mirage. Benjamin "blameF" Bremer was the sole player to finish in the green for his side, mustering a 1.54 rating and +5.12% Round Swing, but it wasn't enough to help fnatic claw back from immense first-half deficits.
