The Danish in-game leader may have found a new home after parting ways with Astralis in July.

OG is looking to fill one of its two roster spots with former Astralis and HEROIC captain Casper "⁠cadiaN⁠" Møller, according to a report by Dust2.dk.

The Danish publication calls the move a "done deal," which, if it comes to fruition, would see cadiaN replenish OG's ranks after it announced the benching of in-game leader Christoffer "⁠Chr1zN⁠" Storgaard and AWPer Nico "⁠nicoodoz⁠" Tamjidi on Thursday.

cadiaN has been out of action since April, when he was moved to Astralis' bench to make way for Rasmus "⁠HooXi⁠" Nielsen. He became a free agent when his contract with the Danish organization expired in July.

cadiaN's move to the bench came in the wake of the team missing its fifth consecutive Major, several early tournament exits, and a torrid run of individual form by cadiaN as a rifling in-game leader. The 30-year-old averaged a 0.84 rating over 114 maps during his seven-month stint in Astralis' active roster, with the team's best results amounting to a third-place finish at PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025 and 3-4th at BLAST World Final 2024.

The Dane had joined Astralis after a dismal period with Liquid, where stylistic clashes between several players saw the team never find its footing.

He remains on the hunt for the kind of success he had in HEROIC, with whom he won BLAST Fall Final 2022, Spring Final 2023, placed second at the IEM Rio Major, made several deep playoff runs, and won a handful of big online titles from April 2020 to October 2023.

The Dust2.dk report did not specify what role cadiaN would slot into on OG, but with the benching of both their in-game leader and AWPer, the Dane could slot back into the AWP-IGL combo role that he found the most success with in his career.

I would much rather see him in any other team than OG. From their past results, they haven't done much progress in terms of achieving great highs or deep tournament runs. A place in OG is doomed to fail, and it'll only become harder for him to get signed to a better team later on. Hoping I'm wrong, but my keen eye is never wrong.

Honestly this isnt a terrible change. yes cadiaN was terrible on Liquid and Astralis and struggled at the end of being on Heroic, but this is EXACTLY the kind of team that he thrives on and his calling style thrives on. A team of unproven, inexperienced talents that need someone to micro them. Exciting to see, hopefully it works out
