ESWC unveils closing ceremony plans

The Electronic Sports World Cup has announced that the closing ceremony of the 2010 event will be held at the Walt Disney Studios Park.

The Disneyland Paris theme park, open to public since March 2002, will be specially reserved for the ceremony, which is scheduled to start at 20.30 CET on the 4th July.

The closing ceremony will be open to gamers, staff, partners and all ESWC VIP pass owners, all of whom will be able to celebrate the end of the event to the sound of French DJ Bob Sinclar.

To get a VIP pass, simply head over to the ESWC website and buy one via Paypal.

Bob Sinclair is considered one of the greats among DJ's but yeah I can see why some people don't like him. I gotta tell you thou he has been here in Dominican Republic a few times and he hasn't dissapointed yet so keep your hopes up for this after-party. I read some of the comments saying stuff like it's going to be invaded and that people are going to be there just to see Sincalair... I say that's a good thing! Maybe it will finally be the time for a person to use the line "Yeah I'm a pro gamer" and get laid! I gotta feeling this ESWC is going to be legendary, I wish I could go. *crosses-fingers*

I actually prefer Bob Sinclair's stuff over David Guetta... I've seen him perform live in a club here and I wasn't really impressed. Not to say I wouldn't like other people to perform instead of him though. Justice or Daft Punk, like someone stated above, would be much better (and Justice probably cheaper).

I think right now, Justice is much hyper than Sinclar, it would cost A LOT to get them play to play in an event like this. especially this year, as they are working on their next studio release and don't have much time to spend on other things.

Why does the news item say that the theme park opened in 2002? Disneyland Paris have been around since the early nineties, it's the Walt Disney Studios Park that opened in 2002. Maybe I'm just confused by the way it's written?
