MYM to sign moddii & BARBARR

HLTV.org has learned that Meet Your Makers are close to adding Andre "BARBARR" Möller and Andreas "moddi" Fridh to their line-up.

The Swedish team were last seen at the IOL Finals at the weekend, where a semi-final loss to mix INFAME earned them another early exit and a place outside the podium.

They recently added Frey "kHRYSTAL" Sjöström to the fare following a series of frustrating results, but the arrival of the former SK talent has done little to improve their form.

Andre "BARBARR" Möller has been with the ex-Coldfrag team for over half-a-year, and is regarded as one of best Swedish players outside the SK-fnatic pair.

Andreas "moddi" Fridh, who has been acting as a stand-in for H2k since Arbalet Cup Europe, is no stranger to the environment at MYM. He joined forces with the now German-based organisation when it raided Begrip in September, but left it in the first days of 2010.


Fridh back at MYM

The addition of these two players will pave the way for the departures of Frey "kHRYSTAL" Sjöström and Emil "FYRR73" Karlsson, both of whom had been the last entries in the team.

Neither side have commented on the matter as yet, with MYM due to compete at DreamHack Summer in less than a month.

These changes will leave MYM with:

not that great imo :/ BARBARR is a sick awp and a good player, but delpan is just the best atm, so I dunno.. and keeping zet instead of kHRYSTAL is a bit sad also

zet is amazing. He just needs a strong team behind him in order to perform. If you saw the Dubai tournament they played he pretty much carried the team to 2nd place with his entry picks and strong play overall. Don't underestimate him, trust me.

zet is a veteran. He dosen´t get kicked. he will leave when he feels like it. And for the record khrystal was really bad when he played for mym. Zet was way better. khrystal we saw in SK wasn´t the khrystal we saw in mym unfortunately.

omg so desperate move by bringing back moddi, he was kicked for making bad atmosphere, so they think it will change?! NO WAY I think they didnt kick zet, because he will be IGL now, as he used to be in SK also (not all time, he admited in one interview that he changed roles with walle), but I'm not sure

I think they evaluated this move pretty thorough considering moddii:s attitude. His attitude might have been affected by the previous team's atmosphere. With new members and the big warning he received for previous attitude problems I think this can work out. People mature and moddii is also a good friend of BARBARR which might help him get a grip of his attitude problems.

They're okay... Not great. That's what my opinion is. Of course, noone is "BAD" with rifles on this level of gaming. But comapred to pure riflers in tier 2, like carn, face, robban etc... they're slightly worse off... IMO

Well.. BARBARR is one young and upcoming talented awper, he wont use it that much with delpan in the team. No experienced ingame leader, not sure about moddii atitude and zet isnt what he used to be, tho he still good. Dont think this will succeed. I would rather -delpan here and +delpan in SK :>

walle is awesome IGL and allen is the most stable player in the world imo, he is always in great form on the other hand, face can be awesome in one match, but in other he can be just bad as hell, imo it's better to be stable and keep that K/D ratio little more then 1.0 then haveing 2.0 in one match and than 0.70 in other, like face has very often

I think this will be better both for MyM and H2K. If this is true i would be surprised if kHRYSTAl didnt take Barbarrs spot in H2K and they prolly will kick Pop or Pronax and bring in Fyrr73 then H2K will be a much better team and so will MyM.

This is huge for MYM, in a positive way! FYRRTE and krysthal were great players but MYM needed changes. The only problem I can see here is BARBARR/Delpan. Both are awesome awpers. Who will be primary? I think Delpan. Hopefully they can work this out without bad feelings (guess both wants to be primary). As regards to h2k: this team had too many problems to be able to compete at the top. Best solution was actually what is currently happening. Take the best players and put them in a better team. Good luck and give us results! ;)

SK will probably remove Robban or walle and get kHRYSTAL back. When he came in with face, they won 3 events, he had a lot of impact in it also. I'm pretty sure he's coming back. They won't remove Gux, he's playing amazing, same with face. Like a lot of HLTV users said, it's either one of the three "core" members that is probably going to leave...

I guess you didn't watch him play at all with SK... of course he doesn't seem to be that great because the team isn't doing great overall, but he's always there to get the kills and win it for them, same with face. When those two are on, SK wins with ease. With fnatic, he had f0rest and GeT_RiGhT that could turn on their play to make him look even better because they were just fragging everything on their way. He is very solid and he's not going to be replaced. If he lost some of his skills from fnatic, it must be below 10% of it. I'm predicting walle or RobbaN to quit.

zet has always done well everytime I saw him..against big teams...alongwith delpan and pita...hes the one who would make winning rounds happen...cut him some slack...he can hardly perform "amazing" if team is losing every match This lineup is amazing to say the least...the best they could have done...I always wanted barbarr and delpan to be in one team...not to mention even as riflers barbarr and moddii are just insane... Now MYM can start winning

some core members from SK needs to step down.. to make way for some new talent.. i think walle and robban should go.. SK is lagging in motivation and they need new IGL and new team with new strats... i think.. face, gux, khrystal, allen/dennis, manne would be great for SK..

WOW amazing lineup, close to my SK predicted team :) zet + moddii + BARBARR + pita will have great chemistry they are all intense and expolisive players on LAN + delpan one the of the bigest rising talents in Sweden today. I definetely see them doing some damage against the big teams at Dreamhack.

But the thing is, he doesn't perform, he's had one good game against Ab Ovo and that is it in a long time. Not saying that khrystal or FYRR73 should stay instead of him, none of them have been performing as expected, but stop making zet better than he is. Simply by looking at stats here on hltv.org, you can see that he doesn't play well.. He might get a second wind, if the transfers become a reality, but right now his game isn't good enough for a clan that wants to be top3 in the world.

Why are you all saying that zet should have gone instead of KHRYSTAL? What has khrystal done since he got to MYM? IMO zet has been performing better while khrystal lives on old skill. And btw I think that BARBARR whill be the tac leader from what I heard is supposed to be really good at it.

you're absolutely correct..i watched every match with MYM's new lineup and zet was far more consistent than FYRR73 and kHRYSTAL, and zet is still a pistol round master.. kHRYSTAL is an amazing player, but he played so well in SK and ever sense he got booted for a stupid ass reason he seems like he was burnt out while he was in SharkGaming and MYM..just not that same player this is my favorite team and i think this is a perfect lineup..but i may of picked up manne instead of BARBARR..Delpan is a better awper but BARBARR is suppose to be a badass IGL, and he is pretty amazing with rifles and can be their secondary awper for CT side on train/d2/inf/ext.. so hopefully it works out..GL MYM, get back to your old ways, still rooting for ya.

y all the guys say that zet should be removed... u guys dont no cs... zet is bad? before zet came to sk, how much longer did sk win the final? when zet went to sk, sk won at least 2 rly big tournaments and almost got top3 in every tournament....... if zet is bad, y mym added him to the team... when zet went to mym, they easily became the top 5 in the world... can u remember how they did in Dubai and DH... mym went down bcs MODDII's leave and jumpy didnt have enough time into cs... In lan game, zet is the most reliable player in the world
