UNiTED qualify for ESWC 2010

UNiTED will represent Russia at the 2010 Electronic Sports World Cup, following a 2-0 victory against forZe in the qualifier final.

Last time the two teams faced each other was in the Grand Final at ASUS Spring 2010, where UNiTED finished off forZe 2-1 to take the gold medals.

Today it all began on de_inferno, where UNiTED started as CT, something that seemed to fit the team very well as an 11-4 lead was sealed at half-time. It did not look as forZe was capable of regaining anything on the map, which UNiTED proved true now playing Terrorist, securing five rounds to win 16-4.

Switching to de_nuke, forZe once again started as Terrorist, this time winning the pistol round. Second round did however see UNiTED catch forZe off guard, winning the round and forcing forZe to eco. At the score 5-1 forZe picked up their second round, but the following round UNiTED stroke back and continued the dominance. forZe picked up just one additional round before half-time, seeing UNiTED lead 12-3.

Winning the pistol round as CT was just what forZe needed, but not being able to stop UNiTED once they had money to buy guns, hurt forZe quite a bit. forZe were forced to save weapons two rounds, which lead to UNiTED realizing match point at 15-6. UNiTED only needed the following round to lock it down and win 16-6, and 2-0 overall.

B1AD3 is amazing bro, it's ED1K that's bad imo..far below in skill than his t-mates ROMJKE the man of the match.. and poor play from forZe, i would love to see Dosia or if LeX came back(which is unlikely at the time)to join UNiTED and replace ED1K(the weak link), he has an ok awp but it's not as good as AdreN or hooch, if they replaced him with a better option, i think they could win an international tourney but i don't see LeX coming back yet but i do think he'll make a return and i don't see Dosia leaving his brother fox in forZe..waste of talent if forZe don't start playing like they use to..just my opinion

i agree with you..i never liked ed1k.They say they recruited him because of his awp skills and he definitely isnt at the level of top awpers like dsn,delpan,markeloff,sunde etc etc.for me fox or dosia should join the ranks of united..but dosia isnt going to play for a team without his bro and viceversa so its kinda unlikely for both players to join united all the other players are very good blade,hooch,romjke and adren are all awesome

You do realise that ed1k was probably the best from united during Arbalet EU right? According to the stats he had the best, and I recall him being top10, though he might had lost it in the end. He really isnt bad, though he is not that consistent.

yea he's not consistent, and has an Average awp and Average rifles..i'm just saying hooch could start awping again and just pickup a great rifler..there is alot of good players in the Russian scene..i wish they still had F1_N :( but maybe Ed1K will keep improving and prove me wrong..UNiTED is definitely up there for one of the most entertaining teams to watch imo, i really like 4/5 of their players..
