EPS Germany 16 week 14 stats recap

Almost all remaining questions have been answered this week regarding final placements, as the four attendants of the LAN Finals are now known and the relegation battle is over for most teams.

In what was definitely the match of the week, TBH and You Don't Know Me met in Munich for the last Intel Friday Night Game of the season. The Bavarians ended up disappointing a lot of their fans, as they couldn't bring the match to a close after they took the lead 15-11. At that score, it seemed that they finally broke You Don't Know Me, but they lost a 5vs2 situation against a couple of deagles. Fired up by this round, ydk.me went on to grab the last 3 rounds and get a draw against the second placed team.

Mousesports were again unbreakable, as they defeated snook even easier than the 16-6 score line suggests, having won the first half 14-1. That leaves only one game for them to win in order to have a perfect season as they stand on 14 wins in 14 matches.

Alternate needed to win against Frankfurt 69ers in order to secure their spot at the Finals, and they did so with no trouble as the match ended 16-3 in their favor. The 69ers finished their campaign, collecting 9 wins and 6 losses, since they played their match from the last Playday a month ago during IFNG Hamburg.

Hardware4u proved to be no match for n!faculty in the battle for the last spot at the Finals, as last year's number 4 clinched the spot with a 16-1 victory in a match filled with server problems.

As far as relegation is concerned, it is no question which teams will definitely stay for another season as the first ten places have been determined. However, places that lead to the Relegation tournament (11th-14th) are still not completely decided, as only Tera is safe from direct relegation to EAS (15th and 16th), while four others will fight for salvation. The only team that doesn't have a chance to save itself in the last Playday is cwG, as they collected only 4 points and have no wins under their belt. Complete standings can be found here.

Player performances

Manuel "approx" Zeitz from Alternate was the best rated player this week, with the league's second-best rating this season of 2.22, against Frankfurt 69ers. He seems to be a de_tuscan expert, as all three of his matches on that map were worthy of a weekly top5 and he averaged an incredible 1.25 KPR in them.

At second place is Vinh "NiNjA" Bui Thanh who led n!faculty to an easy win against Hardware4u with his 20 kills in 17 rounds.

Currently top rated player of the league, mousesports' Antonio "cyx" Daniloski, was the best in his team's victory over snook while he put up a score 22-7 in the first half.

The rest of the top 5 consists of two supporting roles. Firstly, Direnc "seraph" Öz from Alternate in their match versus Frankfurt 69ers which marks his second appearance in a row, and then Navid "Kapio" Javadi from mouz with 20 first half kills against snook.

lul. it's maybe the best "one country" scene in the world. for sure eps nordic is more interesting but that is including all scandinavian countries and their best teams. if you would make an eps "central europe" or something like this with including best teams of germany,france and benelux it would be quit high-level and therefore just like eps nordic. that league is on her own way interesting. if you like it or not .. just your opinion but don't complain about things you are unconcerned about. concluding: you can't really compare eps germany with eps nordic.

then you have to watch some B class team matches for example today "teamteam vs. You Dont Know Me" which ended 0:2 or other CB Eurocup XXI matches. The quality of German EPS Teams is unbeaten in the mass.

Germany is one of the top countries when it comes to the cs scene, they have more "elite" teams then sweden and norway together. Only because your country cant produce normal people that can play cs doesnt mean that you can play "jewish hero" on the internet.

u are talking bullshit. german has mouz n! and attax as elite teams. lets say the maximum is 8 teams if u include tbh, ydk,and so on who play in the EPS. then nordic scene has h2k, sk , fnatic, mtw,ravens, playzone.fi,seven,mym, cheaptimes, exp-gaming, lions ......... the nordic scene has too many teams that are pro.

I think u are wasting your time talking nonsense. To me the germans are one of the most hardworking and disciplined people of Europe. Ofcourse Nordic players have a lot of talent, but I think it's more worth watching this enormous german EPS. I think their is more competition in Germany.

well the swedish scene seems to me much more active with the daily nightcups and so on as the germans who play esl gathers and with only 1 nightcup for the whole scene.

take a look at the nordic and compaire it to the german scene. german scene sux on international level. take a look at the last kode5 in germany. 2 nordic mixteams owned german elite.

"nordic scene sux on international level" own goal (= Please tell me now which nordic eps teams except fnatic do really rule right now international (I´m saying right now, because u did the same when u told me, that nordic mixteams can bash teams like mouz so easy daily)? Any of those? and dude... it doesn´t even matter what they do international! EPS Germany is always nice to watch and follow: The rivalry between the teams, statements & interviews, lan events. It´s just great organized and fun to watch... And really, the level they play isn´t that bad as u think. Kode5 Germany was a nightmare for those german teams, but shit happens. And at least Cheap Times is no mixteam. btw i never said i do not like eps nordic... great teams play there (even if they are not able to upload matchmedia, use allowed binds etc, which results in rematches bla bla bla... :D). But in my opinion it´s just fail to say, that eps germany suckz, it does definitly not.

imo, german community is too boring. ALTERNATE & mousesports are the only teams who can do something international on HIGH level. you can't compare it with nordic. most of nordic teams are on top level (fnatic,SK,mTw,Ravens,playzone,H2k etc.) but german teams like TBH, f69 & n! are growing now. tell me -exept germans- if anyone know german teams exept attax & mouz before 1,2 years..
