Poland to send one team to ESWC?

According to the official ESWC website, Poland will only send Frag eXecutors to this year's finals.

Beholder, the ESWC license holder in Poland, announced last month that it would provide two teams to the world finals in Paris.

The announcement came on the same day as Beholder confirmed that the LAN qualifier had been cancelled after the event's main sponsor decided to pull the plug on its support because of a flood damaging several of its investments.

The ESWC updated this afternoon the Counter-Strike roster on its website, replacing the slot destined to Poland with Frag eXecutors' name, but making no mention of a second team from Poland.

HLTV.org knows that sending a second Counter-Strike team would cost Beholder an additional $7,500, as organising parties are obliged to pay a $1,500 license fee for every player qualified.

The Polish ESWC qualifier was played online at the weekend, with Frag eXecutors clinching winning honours, while DELTA picked up second place after beating PGS 2-1.

HLTV.org has already approached Beholder for a comment on the matter, but we have not yet received a response.

this same 2006 wcg , this same 2007 eswc, this same 2008 eswc , this same 2009 wcg. All that events they finish on top1. So u always have 2 know, that golden five like that events and can always win !

DOnt give a shit's Luq had to leave cuz of him fails with awp that was good reason to replace him for pasha. Ofc its true that luq played well thouse events but WCG 2009 showed that Pasha rised to the occasion. They heve chance to win.

What the hell? If I'm not wrong, FX won that event with Luq, not pasha. So why do you think pasha was a good replacement when they won the biggest event that year? Btw. why do you think they suddenly started to lose everything? Including against some lower teams.

LUq was screaming all the time and that i think was good motivation for them to play better, now pasha is just silent awper, no more screams and motivating with team mates.

i guess it's both good and bad if it would turn out to be true. good cuz it would only be a waste of money but bad cuz it would do poland some good to have another team than Fx getting some international routine so the scene finally could grow a little.

Regardless what is happening in this situation, FX are going to ESWC and will try their hardest to win, Good luck to them and hope they can achieve their goal. That is all everyone should say instead of negative comments, as clearly they are doing better than those people making negative comments and have achieved more for esports than those certain individuals on here. i like Fx but i think they doesnt pass the groupstage, at this moment there not on the top lvl in the world, theres many teams who play stronger and better then them like Navi, fnatic, mtw and and and so i think it will be interesting to see how much they practise in the last time. neo is still the best player in the world imo..his team needs to back him up...Loord is the only one doing anything besides neo i just don't think pasha is a good fit, bring luq back chemistry > everything imo

omfg, I think this news is about Poland sending only 1 team instead of 2. Not about LUq > pasha or whatever. So can you, please, stop arguing about whose better - it's pointless imo. Golden five won ESWCs, WCGs, they made the change, hopefully they can get to their shape again. That's the sport - you can't be the best forever. more ontopic: This all sucks. Fx refusing the free slot, no LAN finals, only one team on the list of participants. It's very confusing, and will not do any good for polish scene... :/ gl pasha :p
