Valve's E3 surprise is Portal 2-related

Valve has refuted suggestions that a new Counter-Strike installment will be announced by confirming its surprise is related with Portal 2.

The developer had stated it had cancelled its Portal 2 press unveiling at the E3 expo in Los Angeles for a big surprise, leading to speculation that Counter-Strike 2 was in the making.

The rumour mill backed up by a screenshot allegedly captured from Valve's website in which it showed that the new installment of Counter-Strike would be released in June 2011.

However, Valve has now quashed speculationa about its E3 surprise, saying it will be "***PORTAL-2-THEMED-FOR-GOD'S SAKE***".

The Portal 2 press event has been cancelled as Valve plans to release it in 2011, rather than this year, as initially announced.

honestly its better this way. valve has a habit of fucking the cs community with their shitty cs updates etc. with the upcoming release of the next beta of promod, its better valve just stays out of this one, before they screw the cs community any harder

and no no nerver were jumbled....cs promod isnt run by anyone related to valve, its run by a dedicated group if americans that wanna improve the cs community and theyre doing with their own updates/models etc. Valves release of CS2 even tho not happening would not affect them in the least...specially seeing theyd prolly do a better job than valve...since the promod group is run by experienced competitive gamers, and valce only listens to the millions of shitties that dwell in public servers ^___^
