Retired Counter-Strike player Emil "HeatoN" Christenssen has released the first video from his personal gaming academy.

Earlier this month, Christenssen announced the creation of his own gaming academy together Samsung and Stockholm E-sports Industry, whose goal was to help players with important aspects of the game.

The former NiP and SK player has now released the first video, which focuses on how teams can effectively retake bombsites after losing them to a Terrorist offensive.

Yes I think I know what are you trainig to say but pasha told in one interview (I don't remember when but it was long time ago) that he is training in gym alot because he wannabe pumped. :D

could have taken a better example for nuke to be honest, it doesnt happen often that CT walks behind T's from T spawn (pause at 3:00) not sure but i think that guy got 2/3 kills most of the time a CT rushes from ramp which is much easier to stop :D.

Depends. Whoever's on ramp could have gone outside main, or even gone down into ramp, through and up the stairs round garage. Still, bit of a rare example, but I think he was just trying to point out the synchronization

hey i wanna ask something here.. like in DE_DUST2 ::-B site re Take...the CT guys throwing minimum 4 flashes as i have seen :O now normally in CT posies wherever we are playing , i think we are using out flashes before bomb has been planted.. so how can it be possible that in last 30 sec CT-guys still have 4-5 flashes to Retake :O same as i know in DE_NUKE RAMP ::- this is obvious thing that 2 ramp guys will surely use their flashes to stop the ramp push or Ts who r faking ramp...so ma QUESTION is same that how could that 2 ramp guys will still have 2-2 flashes in their hands remain :O ??? then also TY "Hido'N" :P will try 2 execute as much as i can .. :) GooD JOB...

the video demonstrated 4 flashes in de_dust2 retake ..... and those 4 flashes can come from the guy watching mid , and the guy watching short for e.g ..... from the 3-4 remaining guys , 2 of them or 3 of them collectively should have like 4 flashes ..... Good teams always use their flashes when absolutely required so i think its a difference in mentality here .... In nuke the ramp guys need just 1 flash to get to their positions to cover ramp , and the other guy with total 2 flashes makes 3 flashes from the ramp guys which is displayed here i think, hope this helps

ya u both r r8.. i know u r thinking as ideal positions u know :) if thy make as fake and then lt 2 as as nades for e.g. then OFC as guys do flashes 1 by 1 in cover or 2 stop rush or to go for watch that are thy on cat-walk or not..i mean if its planned that v have to capture a SITE after plant and u have to make your flashes remain then it can be happen :) same way in D2 as so many good teams doing ramp fake pick and then fall back to upper site then ramp guys will not have flashes for upper plant as i know :)they have to use it for radio-to-ramp push.. and by the way all knows that upper guys have to do so many counter flashes from when map is started... :) and ya its OK i can understand that if we are looking it as predefined strategy then its as i said GOOD JOB :) i know this things guyz but then also TY for HELP xD

u are right, but 4 flashes is not necessary. A good one can be ok. So , there is 4 players, 2 flashes are needed: one short (last guy) and one long. So 2 guys must have 1 flash, they are 4, that's ok ...

And I thought teamflashing is a must nowadays lol I presume cz skins are used as they are "better looking" than the old CS 1.6 ones for this kind of videos. The retake is easy if the T do not outplay the CT with their own strats thus it is not that easy. Still nice video (or demo explanation as I see it).

although this is a really helpfull video for cs teams (it really is), idk if that´s the best way to start a gaming academy, I mean, if this should be the first gaming video beeing released. heatoN may have started with the basics, the very first things you must know about cs, like weapons recoils, starting rounds etc... after that, go to the tatical stuff : bs defends, retakes, 1on1 situations... things like that

If HeatoN does it too simple, people will say it's not detailed enough, newbies can't understand. If HeatoN does it too detailed like 10 mins video of him showing and going through retaking strats step by step, people will say it's too noobish because everyone knows how to do that. Seriously, he's obviously doing it for the right audience. If it's not helping you in any way, then too bad for you. If you think you're too pro for his strats, then good for you. Maybe next time we'll get to see you retaking bombsites in next year's ESWC/WCG or something. If you're not picking up what he's teaching, maybe he'll come up with a more newbie friendly videos in the future. None of you have to pay to watch his videos (at least for now), so learn to appreciate freebies. Don't like it? Don't watch it.
