mTw ease past FX in first match

mTw have picked up their first points in the second group stage at the ESWC world finals with a 18-12 win over Frag eXecutors on de_nuke.

A good start from mTw saw the Danish side conquer the opening four rounds, before FX finally managed to get into the game and level it 4-4. After this, mTw once again they were a step above the Poles, as they were in the lead 9-6 at the break.

In the second half, mTw won the pistol round and became very close to winning the match after securing the following four rounds. FX still got a round themselves, but mTw put a stop to the former MYM squad's dreams of pulling off a comeback, going all the way to secure a 18-12 victory.

taz is ingame leader which doesnt help your fragging. guys like zeus ave carn aren't lying around in every corner of the street you know. IGL who do alot of fragging are like the unicorns of CS, and deserve alot of credit :P

Me too.. I know what he's capable of, I remember him owning top teams when in PGS but his teammates weren't up to it, now his teammates are and suddenly he just fails terribly. I think FX is a hard team to get in to as a group I'm afraid. :/

I think you dont understand what I said.. it was only a matter of one pistol round to get a tie, two to win, still during all match, fx imo played quite well, but mtw is in form and played better (imo they are unstoppable now)

Stop lying to urself. Are you telling me that fx deserves the spot more than SK, Mouz, mTw? Are hiding the fact that fx is not as strong as before? Losing two consecutive pistol rounds may not be that bad at all, but it does prove that mTw was stronger, thus more eligible to that spot at e-soul.

Im saying that after watching their game versus mTw, we can all see that they improved a little bit, so give them a time and wait till end of ESWC to say what form they are now ofc they dont deserve more then mTw or SK, but mouz didnt win anything this year also

Just don't pay any attention to 'qbMd' he obviously doesn't know anything. You are right about the pistol rounds. mTw said themselves in an interview that one of the reasons they struggled for so long was there inability to win pistol rounds and that at dreamhack they won almost every single one which made there job a lot easier. doesnt change that either sk or mTw should have been picked that spot. It sucks that 2009 has that great a deal than 2010. Obviously 2009 results means less right now..

looking at result I also wouldnt pick FX to e-Stars ;) but they got a lot of fans in Asia and imo this decided, also inviting FX made a lot of noise after whole event, so this is what sponsors want
