BURNING have caused the first upset of the second group stage after moving past Natus Vincere 16-14 on de_inferno.

The Frenchmen started out the match better and secured an early lead in the first half, but an impressive comeback from Na´Vi, inspired by "starix", put them up 9-6 when the teams switched sides.

In the second half, BURNING got off on the right foot once again, and it looked like they had a real chance to upset Na'Vi. Though the Ukrainians still tried to respond, in the end it would be BURNING to walk out winners in the very last round, leapfrogging the CIS side in the table.

since IEM 4, navi started failing big time, so it's a epic fail for them now, they are getting worst and worst, maybe they did not realize, that all teams have studied them alot, and they need to change their strats. The funny thing is that on ESWC site it says otherwise, navi 16- b 14

Its home turf, ppl need to realize that it matters in cs, navi started owning on arbalet events mostly in UA, now the french have this advantage. Same thing happend a few years ago on a chinese event when wNv won it, ever since they done almost nothing on the international level. And I'm in no way saying that any of these teams are bad. P.S. The more experiance the players have the less they get effected with this "skill lag" when they travel to an away event.

Actually Gux and Face (the SK players) have commented on this, and what they said was pretty much the opposite. The question was why Navi have started playing worse the last few tournaments, and their response was that rather than other teams having studied them and now know what they do, Navi, in fear of teams doing just that changed up their playing style to a slower style which doesn't really suite them. They need to play more aggresively and live off of their skill to a greater extend than what they have done lately. And this, they thought, was the reason for the results lately. Thought you might be interested.

theres no chance navi can lose to these guys so i think all these amazing "upsets" are planned out for some reason before the match even started...take a look at na'vi vs complexity u'll see navi almost dying on purpose till the 14th round of complexity...then they step it up cause obviously complexity needed those rounds and i guess had a "talk" with navi before the match...

It's all about dayform, all the top teams can beat each other. Na'Vi was indeed lucky they got through. If only FF would have beaten PZ, they would have been gone... random game.
