mouz cancel WCG participation

mousesports have announced that they will not compete in the upcoming qualifier for the World Cyber Games.

The German giants had revealed that they would require a total of three stand-ins for the competition, three on Saturday, and just one on Sunday, the last day of the competition.

However, mouz have been informed by the tournament organisation that, in order to participate in the qualifier, they would have the present the same line-up throughout the event.

Due to Roman "roman" Ausserdorfer and Antonio "cyx" Daniloski not being able to play on the first day, such rule meant they would also have to sit the second day out.

As a result, mouz have decided to pull out of the tournament as they set their focus on the upcoming events - Arbalet Cup Dallas, GameGune and Extreme Masters Global Challenge Shanghai.

"Due to Roman "roman" Ausserdorfer and Antonio "cyx" Daniloski not being able to play on the first day, such rule meant they would also have to sit the second day out." What kind of retarded ass rules are these? WCG, the same tournament that decided to ban crouch hopping. Looks like they're always an innovator when it comes to making stupid and unnecessary rules.

WCG was always kind of the Olympics for games and players had Team Poland" or "Team Germany" or their t-shirts and this rules had been since start, I dont see anything stupid in this rules. The Olympics is to play and win for your country and then we can count which country got most medals and if turkish player get medal for Germany, it's something strange...

Pretty understandable honestly. Though mouz does not seem to worry that much, most likely due to not being very clear if the winning team's expenses are being paid or not.

If they would've been allowed to change their lineup for the WCG Finals then they should really have done it. They should've done it no matter what, playing is playing. They have the chance to win money.
