Millenium confirm Mojawi interest
Millenium chief Jean-March "Bjoran" Gaudin has confirmed the new line-up will be centered around the old Mojawi Gaming roster.
Millenium have been without a Counter-Strike division since parting company with the line-up led by Marc "bisou" Naoum following a semi-final exit at the French ESWC qualifier last month.
The French giants have been linked with a move for the former emuLate squad, who departed Mojawi Gaming last week following their financial troubles.
Gaudin has now revealed that Millenium's new line-up will be based on the Mojawi team, after they failed in their efforts to prize Christophe "SIXER" Xia and Engin "MAJ3R" Kupeli away from BURNING!.
"We wanted to recover MAJ3R and sixeR for the next season but they have preferred to stay with their team-mates until the WCG," he told Web TV Millenium.
"We will base our line-up on Mojawi's core, with also a player who prematurely announced his retirement."
The player in question is believed to be Mathieu "MaT-" Leber, who had reportedly hung up his mouse last week after Mojawi's breakup.
Meanwhile, Millenium have announced that they will miss GameGune due to one of their new players not being able to attend the event.
