Tentpole in line for return?

Former fnatic and SK Gaming star Kristoffer "Tentpole" Nordlund could be preparing a return to competitive gaming.

The retired player yesterday changed his status on his SK Gaming community profile to "Official comeback 10th October 2010."

Nordlund has been out of action since being released from SK in August, reportedly after protesting against unpaid wages.

His attempt of a return with H2k Gaming in February was short-lived, as the team disbanded after just one event, the IOL Finals, where they suffered a semi-final defeat at the hands of Begrip Gaming.

Tentpole set for return?

With fnatic having completed their roster and SK Gaming believed to be interested in adding Andreas "moddii" Fridh on a permanent basis, it looks like Nordlund will have to look elsewhere should he decide to return to Counter-Strike affairs.

it's very possible to see tentpole and heaton int he same team, heaton said not so long time ago that if he had the oppurtunity to comeback with the right players he would. potti retired long time ago and i think he plays cs anymore and he was never that good in 1.6

tentpole wasnt out for as long as most of those others (spawn ahl fisker) and when he quit he was still THE best SK player, as opposed to some other guys making a comeback who were already graduately losing their dominance in the game before they quit. still hoping for a snajdan comeback but if that happens I think he will fail, like you said,as it has been so long :[[[

Wow, this sounds really good, Tentpole is a really old and skilled player, it will be very nice to have him back in the game. I do think it will be Heaton as well cuz he was linked with a return for quite some time. Also fisker and ahl, and probably Spawn. Anyway sound really good, looking forward for this.

hard to foresee where he will end up, if anywhere at all. on a team level it wouldnt surprise me to see him back in SK, but since he have very much against the SK organisation, that doesnt look very promising. on the other hand im having a hard time seeing him in a team with upcoming players, basically because he dont know them and dont want to know them/play with other guys than the old guards (his former teammates in fnatic/begrip/sk/h2k that is) i guess he might get something cooking with SpawN and Snajdan again, but considering their failure earlier, it doesnt look very likely either. im puzzled. edit: actually, something along with threat/snajdan/jaegarn/spawn shouldnt be too far fetched. he played with threat and jaegarn back in begrip and they're both available. at the same time spawn and snajdan are still active and playing a lot of gathers in various channels atm. if he is to comeback to competitive CS and not something else like for a gamegear-company or something in that manner, then that's what i believe in :p

The reason for appearing as 'no team' is that, as roman will not attend GameGune, he is not featured in the mouz line-up (and thus will obviously not be buyable for Dreamteam).

That H2k lineup would have been fuckin' huge. Can't remember full lineup but wasn't it like Tentpole, Gux, SpawN, Snajdan and Zneel? Would be sick if it was the same lineup but with Zet in place of Gux

It was SpawN, Snajdan, Tentpole, Fyrr73, and GuX :D Moddii was in the 'rumored' lineup since fyrr73 'signed' with MYM but he ended up not leaving ... but you are right that line up sure had potential.

Nordlund has been out of action since being released from SK in August, reportedly after protesting against unpaid wages. So it's not just Gux who didn't get his salary on SK =))))

Believe me, HeatoN will come back one day. You can see the look in his eyes. Those eyes desire CS, you can tell it from their look. If he wouldn't be interested he would not have been making videos with Qpad about tips or so. Though i think it'll be very hard for him to find players which could fill up Qpad.se CS team:D
