GameGune 2010 has started and we now bring you on a tour through the venue, for you to experience the atmosphere and generally how it looks at the Spanish event.

The event takes place inside Euskal Encounter 18, which is the Spanish edition of DreamHack. We take you on a quick tour through the GameGune area, located in one side of the massive hall. View the video tour by hitting play on the video below.

Walking inside the venue is something i wanna do "at place" and not over the computer like this on a video clip, you guys must be really thankful that you can visit all those kinds of places world-wide! Though, really nice video from inside the venue and I hope there will be more videos like this! :) Keep it up buddy! You guys are doing an awesome work!

For most games CRT > TFT yes. A few years back no TFT monitor could run 100hz. That is the main reason why they use CRT. I guess not all tournaments have gotten the new TFT monitors that can run 100/120hz :)

Your monitor is fine, a 2ms response time is very good. CRTs are only still used since they are low cost with high refresh rates.

No big difference, it would be more noticeable if your monitor was only 60Hz. Higher Hz = more monitor refreshes per second; a higher refresh rate would mean smoother gameplay, but your monitor is fine for gaming.

actually crt had higher refresh rate than lcd..but now some lcd have 120 refresh rate.

That used to be the case, but you can purchase LCD monitors now with >10ms response time and 120Hz. For example: www.ebuyer.com/product/175346 Your comment is still valid though, CRTs are a better option in most cases due to the high refresh rate and low cost.

Euskal Encouter is a pretty big Lan Party. GameGune is played in the same facilities and I don't think the organisation could afford top class seats for so many people. I don't know how are the chairs used in other countries Lan partys, but in Spain we don't have enough money for better seats for so many people.

well the chairs, it just feels a bit amateur but its probably a cozy lan, and all the top players are together having fun thats the most important. But the organizers sounds to be good, and fullfilled with good energy :) not just cause of the chairs, but arabelet last weekend just looked more nice, but there is also a big difference
