compLexity add aZn for WCG?

According to Derek "dboorN" Boorn, compLexity have picked Kevin "aZn" Wang as their fifth player for the WCG qualifiers.

The announcement was made on an ESEA forum thread about the roster changes compLexity underwent yesterday.

"Our 5th for WCG is aZn and he's not going to be just a ringer. Just like EG, we plan to practice with our 5th so that we're prepared and not just doing things on the fly," Boorn said.

compLexity made headlines on Tuesday when they decided to have Andrew "Irukandji" Timmerman replace Scott "evolution" Cavallero just one week after Arbalet Cup in Dallas, where they failed to enter the playoffs.

Still, the team remained on a quest for a fifth player for the WCG qualifiers, as David "Xp3" Garrido is ineligible to play due to nationality issues.

Wang, who has played for the likes of zEx and eMg in the past, was last seen wearing iDemise's shirt in Dallas, where he picked up an impressive 1.21 rating.

compLexity will attend the WCG qualifiers with:

Derek "dboorN" Boorn
Jeff "hero" Mettetal
Andrew "Irukandji" Timmerman
Kevin "aZn" Wang

What he means by "not just a ringer" is that they are going to practice and put in hard time with aZn, not just play with him sparingly until the WCG event. EG practiced hard with tuBBy for their WCG events last year.

America is built on a majority of Europeans who moved there a few hundred years ago. You will find a lot of Americans with European last names. Quiz of the day is if you can guess aZn's ancestors by his last name :) To answer your question though it's a big possibility, it might be Belgian though.

They won the online qualifier and they had openly talked about using patyojon as there 5th but I saw them scriming with tubby recently and this 'team' UMX won a qualifier without him so I am not really sure :D but it should be either patyojon or tubby.

They needed a strat caller for WCG so Drew is a logical choice, but why cut the fragger who the team is familiar with and replace him with the strat caller and then the strat caller with a fragger. That mean whole new set of strats and 2 new guys to get on the same page as the other 3.

Complexity has been riddled with internal bs since this roster has come around. With the egos of hero and dboorn im suprised the team has made it this far. xp3 is on the way out, he is no longer needed. Drew is calling for coL now, and hero and dboorn don't mesh aswell with xp3 as the fanboys of coL would like to think. I bet $$$ aZn turn perm. and we see xp3 leave.

Honestly, I can't see this lineup going anywhere except against other American teams. Good luck though. It's not that aZn is bad, but he plays way more "self-centered" than other players.

I don't think you can say American CS is dead. European cs just offers fairer online matches (drastically better ping), more tournament opportunities, and consistent practice against decent teams as well. I think American Cs will be fine if these recent roster changes stick within the NA scene. Hopefully at least :)

aZn is one of the top 5 best players in American on LAN, no one can touch him except for n0thing and a few others, agreed his a horrible teammate and clan hopper to the max but this kids aim and skills at this game is nasty and if they are just using him to ring for WCG he will remain loyal because hes a poor asian from NYC and wants the cash. I dont think coL should get rid of Xp3 he is one of their most consistant players and on LAN he is much better than dboorN and thoMz, IMO they should keep Xp3 and replace thoMz with zid.
