Na´Vi over TyLoo for 3rd place

Na`Vi have defeated TyLoo in a close match for 3rd place at the IEM5 Global Challenge Shanghai.

Less than 30 minutes after losing their historic 2-day match against fnatic, Na´Vi were in action again in the match for 3rd place where they met TyLoo. First map was to be the one they had just lost on against fnatic, de_inferno. The Chinese team opened it up much better, winning the pistol round and overall playing very confident to achieve an 8-2 advantage as Terrorists. The favorites from Ukraine then responded by stringing a few round together, and managed to save their half with a 9-6 result at side-change.

At the start of the second half, TyLoo again won the first round against one of the best pistol pistol round teams this year, as well as the following anti-eco. But then the IEM4 champions stepped up and connected 8 rounds in a row to turn the score finally in their favor and take a 14-11 lead. However, the Chinese team didn't want to give up at that point and they brought the score to 14-13 making it a close finish. In the last round, Na´Vi's player Sergey "starix" Ischuk, who played great in the entire second half finishing with a score 23-8, showed his best by killing 4 opponents and bringing his team a 16-13 victory on the first map.

Second map was de_dust2, the one on which these two already met in group stage sharing the spoils after strong T-sides from both teams. This time TyLoo started on that favoured side and yet again picked up the pistol round. They remained in control throughout most of the half and ended up with a 10-5 lead. In second half, in a similar scenario to de_inferno events, TyLoo won the first 2 rounds, but then the Ukrainians took control and won out with 11 rounds in a row for a 16-12 victory on de_dust2 and an overall 2-0 score.

Broken tag

Natus Vincere have therefore finished in 3rd place at IEM5 Global Challenge Shanghai and secured themselves a cheque for $5,000, while TyLoo will receive $3,500 for their 4th place.

The only remaining match is the Final between fnatic and TyLoo.raw which is scheduled for 07:00CET.

Are you out of your mind? Navi was 2nd place in group stage. They had to face fnatic and pay for their bad performance in group stage.

LoL , can we say same thing with GUX, he recently joined fnatic back again and now two consecutive 1st position :D GO GO GO FNATIC overall NAVI and fnatic two best teams in world In my Opinion. Oh and btw fnatic worst nightmare is not NAVI but GOLDEN 5 that is LUQ TAZ KUBENB NEO LOORDB not this FX :s overall pasha is good but the way AGAIN played in wcg that was so different than today's POLISH GAMEPLAY !!!

Navi is new, but the pairings in Navi have been around from previous teams, for a long time.

i wouldn't count out mTw, remember arbalet dallas they played an even closer match with navi than fnatic did here. that shows that mTw=Navi and as Navi=Fnatic that means that mTw=Fnatic
