H2k Gaming in crisis situation

H2k Gaming have confessed to HLTV.org that their Counter-Strike division is currently in turmoil.

The Swedish team have been tipped to leave H2k for the past weeks due to a reported damanged relationship with the Dutch-based organisation .

H2k Gaming recently issued a statement to counteract the stories, stressing that the team would remain on board at least for the duration of their contracts, which expire only next year.

However, fresh reports suggest that the fnatic PLAY winner's future with H2k is anything but certain, after Björn "threat" Pers was brought in and Richard "Xizt" Landström was chosen as a stand-in for SK Gaming at the qualifier for SEC.

H2k Gaming have indicated they are unhappy with the team's choice to add Pers to the fare as they see the former fnatic star as an unstable piece.

The Dutch-based organisation also added that while Landström was seen playing for SK, there has not yet been any official approach for the player.

"There isn't any player officially out of H2k. Richard was indeed a stand-in for SK's match tonight as an official try out, but SK have not proposed us anything yet," H2k PR and Communications Director Gaetan Van der Eecken told HLTV.org.

"We certainly want to keep this team together and we're currently talking with every member step by step to see who is the real problem in the team. Furthermore we do think that threat is not a good choice in the team."

H2k Gaming were one of the teams on show at the WCG Nordic finals earlier this month in Helsinki, where they suffered a semi-final exit to SK Gaming.

With SK's interest in Landström looking like a certainty, and H2k keen on removing Pers from the line-up, it is believed that further changes to the team will soon be announced.

What the management is doing is novel, they deserve a group of five to six individuals to represent the company. So on a way preserving the originality of the squad can be difficult but they are payed to set personal issues, morality disruption, and a sense of serenity aside. .

No they are not payed to set their personal issues aside! If a team has 2 player, that have issues with each other, then one of them has to go - You dont choose a player, just because he's really good, you also choose the person, because he will fit in the team...! :)

Rofl. You didn't read HLTV or what? The H2k players wanted to leave the structure like 2 or 3 weeks ago but they couldnt due to their contract expiring in a long time. That's when the crisis started. Not when SK grabbed Xizt.

Agree. I don't understand this constant negative attitude towards threat. He's always been one of my favorite players. It's like people _WANT_ to dislike him.

for xizt, it's chance to appear in one of best teams in the world, but imo h2k have such potential that with much practise they can be as good as SK, expectly with threat

Impressive inactive listing... As for the issue concerning the addition of threat, I presume future matches (under the tag of H2k or not) will prove either the team or the organization wrong. It is a pity nevertheless that such a strong line-up might have its up and downs due to, apparently, this unstable situation.

This crysis situation was almost 100% because of H2k-Gaming's management meddling in the squads affairs, who they add and remove is completely up to them in my point of view, if this move brings poor performance,stability,etc to the team then the management can and have the obligation to intervene. But never before this happens. Of course the players are dying to part ways with H2k, because altough the organization has a lot of good sponsors and for sure supports the team well financially they cannot meddle like this in the squad's affairs. If FYRR73,Xizt,kHRYSTAL and niko tought that bringing in threat to be new team cpt and igl then is their prerogative. The problem now is that all the players have contracts and on top of that they will probably lose Xizt to SK but not for allen, for walle probably. Lets see how both situations will turn out, if the current H2k.cs get a new home and if Xizt will make a move to SK for walle or allen. GL to them anyways.
