mouz confirm Blizzard for EPS

mousesports have registered Christian "Blizzard" Chmiel as their fifth player for the EPS encounter with Alternative.Gaming.

HLTV.org had reported last week that Chmiel, who had acted as the mousesports' sixth player since 2008, was in line to step up and become the team's fifth man in light of the tragic death of Antonio "cyx" Daniloski in a car accident in July.

The German EPS champions have confirmed on the official ESL website that the former a-Losers talent will play for them in their EPS opener with Alternative.Gaming on Wednesday evening.

mousesports decided not to add a new player to their EPS roster before the registration deadline, which means that their fifth player will always have to come in the form of either Chmiel or Jonas "Johnny R." Bollack.

It is still unknown whether mousesports will be adding a player for other competitions, but according to the info HLTV.org has gathered, Chmiel will likely keep his spot, at least until the end of the year, when the EPS season comes to a close.

mouz will feature the following line-up against Alternative.Gaming:

Fatih "gob b" Dayik
Manuel "Tixo" Makohl
Roman "roman" Ausserdorfer

Yes , I have and he only played for mouz when someone couldn't play. He isn't active anymore and there are better player's than him in Germany :)

blizzard played at gamegune for mouz, and was fundamental in most of matches! think he stills a great player, but i think mouz will miss cyx (like us) :/

Are you serious? They didn't play against good teams there. Look at the tournament and watch. They won three easy groupstage matches. No good teams there. Defending Stars , Dark Passage and erandio. Good teams? Ok. In the playoff's they won wCrea , they lost to CNB , they won again mythiX and lost to k1ck. Those are goood teams? ..

well blizzard, when used for gamegune, did'nt have the background he will have this year after serious practice with his mates he was used as a stand-in. If you think blizzard is not able to reach a good level (@international events too), you are wrong. he proved it before and will do it again and no, there are not that much players in Germany with the same skill

Even with cyx man and roman , they didn't to that good after they won EM 4 European Championship Finals vs fnatic. And with blizzard they won't do very well outside Germany. :)

no offense heroine mate but the matches where I saw him play he was leading mouz, so considering him being inactive if he got active again for mouz he might be even better, so I dont think there are many better choices in germany, ofcourse there are some players who are potentially better but you never know how it pans out within a team and these guys are already comfortable with Chmiel, he's a "sure thing"

Which matche's ? In gamegune against not so good teams? We'll see how mousesports will play against teams like Na`Vi etc. with Blizzard. I'm just saying , that with blizzard they won't do that good :)

I remember end of 'active carrer' by Blizzard, scores like 1:14, many disappointments etc but in the other hand, he had his time also, he was someone for Germany like neo for Poland or fOrest for Sweden, later as standin always was on fire (the highest k/d in EPS or crazy group stage on GG 09 as examples) then in my opinion confirm him was one of the best moves

I think they will miss cyx.. :S as we will.. But they have to move on.. I think they got the right player.. Playing as a stand-in in last GG blizzard did so much damage to the other teams.. At least I think he is a great player.. 1 question.. Who is going to be the main awp on mouz?

blizzard played fine at Gamegune against some of the best teams, which more than qualifies him to play EPS for Mouz. If he pracs up a bit, im sure he will be competitive again. He was the best choice. We should all get behind Blizzard, i couldnt think of anything worse than being asked to replace the best player in the country... especially in the circumstances... This will make blizzard stronger !!! <3 blizzard

actually you should check the stats, he only did good in groupstages. although I agree he is an excellent player, he still needs to put more time into cs imo, and hopefully he will now.
