SK to use Xizt at SEC

HLTV.org has received info that SK Gaming will use Richard "Xizt" Landström at the Samsung European Championship.

The Swedish player, whose team have just joined Lions from H2k Gaming, has been on the radar of SK Gaming for some weeks, and even played for them as a stand-in in the SEC qualifiers.

Despite being formally announced by Lions, HLTV.org knows that the Swedish players are still under a contract with H2k Gaming and that negotiations between the two organisations are still underway.

"We forbid Xizt to play at SEC for SK, but he did not listen to us, so he will get an extra fine for that," H2k PR and Communications Director Gaetan Van der Eecken told HLTV.org.

Landström is likely to step into the shoes of Jimmy "allen" Allen, whose future at the team is looking in doubt after missing their last matches, allegedly due to his vacations.

So far, there has been no comment from SK Gaming as to the line-up they will be using, but the official SEC page lists Landström as their fifth player.

Due to being under a contract with H2k, and not with Lions, it is believed the Norwegian-based organisation will not get to have a say in this. Lions will be in China, for the MSI Beat It Finals, on the days the SEC will take place, which will force them to use a stand-in for the Chinese event.

SK Gaming will feature the following line-up at SEC from 3-5 September:

Johan "face" Klasson
Robert "RobbaN" Dahlström
Andreas "moddii" Fridh
Richard "Xizt" Landström

not fanboy, just my opinion. I know that walle is not getting a good performance but if he leaves SK they wont win a single tournament. And you should know that. Is a important member, if not the most important. He was a tactical when SK was winning a lot of matches. Just give him some time. He plays about more that 10 years, its perfectly normal that he have a bad moment.

SK won't survive without RobbaN and walle , for those of you who can't understand it. Although they aren't main fraggers mostly , they have a pretty important role in the team and they are the experienced players behind this , and I'm pretty sure they are the reason for keeping SK as a top team no matter which lineup change they are doing. Just look at facts.. SK is a top team with RobbaN and walle , I don't think they can stay a good team without those experienced two.

H2k with threat niko face khrystal and fyrrte were better than your experienced players before SK broke the team buying face and khrystal... And it doesnt change anything for them they were not better with face and khrystal than with tentpole GTR zneel zet etc because of the core allen robban walle who stayed the same. Sorry I'm wrong it changes one thing they stayed 2nd swedish team by breaking H2k, if they hadn't did it they would be 3rd. Just watch moddii he is not good because of your experienced players, he doesnt need them he is far better by himself and delpan too like many others in sweden.

Wow @ how dumb sk are if they actually have replaced allen. I hope he's just still on holiday and unnable to play this comp or something. Allen's been their best performer and top-fragger by far the past few months, while walle continues to barely get a frag, doesnt call any more caus robban does, and doesnt awp caus robban does. They need to keep allen, and replace walle with delpan if they actually want to be good. If they want to only be ok then they need to keep both allen and walle, and if they want to be terrible then they'd keep walle and replace allen (ie what it seems like they've possibly done).
