eSuba over Verya to win WCG qual.

Czech-based eSuba have claimed top spot in their nation's WCG qualifier, after overcoming Verya in a 2-0 manner.

This weekend was host to a joint cooperation; a Czech and Slovakian World Cyber Games qualifier which attrated a total of eight teams.

eSuba got off by winning their initial match but were shortly after crossed by Verya, entering the lower-bracket as a result. Competition here was also stiff, as eSuba only managed to see off their contenders, ROCKETS and eEriness, with scores of 16-11 and 16-12, respectively.

However, the lower-bracket final was to no stress, as fans saw eSuba easily post a 16-1 scoreline. As the tournament's grand final commenced, eSuba had seemingly found some leftover strength and were able to overcome Verya by a 2-0 score.

* The newspost earlier read that eSuba would attend the WCG 2010 Grand Finals in Los Angeles. This is not certain, as the Czech team will not receive a fully covered trip, nor will license fees be either.
