compLexity pick up FireGamers
compLexity Gaming have announced their new Counter-Strike team in the form of the FireGamers squad.
The Brazilian giants had long been looking for an organisation to house them as they look to emulate the results most of their players achieved while at Made in Brazil.
FireGamers, who won both the WCG qualifier in the country and WCG Pan-America last month, recently placed third at the Mega GamerHouse Acervus Cup, finishing behind semXorah and mibr, but the team's disappointing results in Botucatu seems to have had no effect on compLexity's determination.
The team will fill the spot left vacant by Andrew "Irukandji" Timmerman's team, who were given the boot by compLexity earlier this month after three of their players missed their flight to Beijing for the MSI BEAT IT finals.
"We couldn’t be happier with this decision. We believe this group of players has the right mixture of skill, attitude, and dedication to be a top contender on the global scene if given the right support," coL owner Jason "1" Lake told the team's website.
"The fact that the squad has maintained a stable roster during a difficult time displays a loyalty that’s hard to find these days. We have high expectations and are hopeful that more international events will only make them better over time."
Although compLexity seem to have finally found a stable team, after their previous rosters in recent times were all harmed by constant line-up changes, Lake stressed that finding a new North American team in still in their plans.
"It is still our wish to field another North American team in the future. Since our return from CGS we have diligently tried to find success but it has proved elusive. If the right opportunity arises we will not hesitate to support two Counter-Strike squads, but as of right now coL.br will represent The Syndicate in 1.6," he added.

FireGamers: new coL squad
The new compLexity team will have their debut for the American organisation this week, against Peruvian side Artyk, as they battle for one of the two South America places at the Intel Extreme Masters American Championship. The match, which will be played online, has yet to be scheduled.
After this, the Brazilians will travel to Los Angeles for the WCG finals, having been paired with forZe and i-DX in Group C.
compLexity now have the following Brazilian team:
Bruno "bruno" Ono
Renato "nak" Nakano
Lincoln "fnx" Lau
Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo
Bruno "bit" Fukuda
