Wild Ineters to skip IEM America

According to mibr.com.br, Wild Ineters have confirmed they will not attend the Intel Extreme Masters American Championship.

The Argentine side, winner of KODE5 Latin America, had been granted a spot at the event after beating Punto cL 2-0 online in the South American qualifier earlier this week.

Wild Ineters had been invited to attend FIRE, a tournament in Brazil which will take place at the same time as the IEM competition, so it was expected that they would drop out of the former once they had grabbed a spot to the event in New York City.

However, reports in Brazil suggest that Wild Ineters have contacted the FIRE organisation confirming their attendance at the event, as they would not be able to pay for their trip to the ESL competition.

With the IEM American Championship, scheduled to take place from October 8-10, set to have two teams from South America, it is still unknown what the tournament organisation will do.

In the other qualifying match, compLexity and Artyk are tied 1-1, a match which ended before the third map due to problems finding a proper server to play on.
