ROCCAT releases new Kone mouse

ROCCAT has oficially released an updated version of its highly-popular Kone mouse.

The new mouse, called ROCCAT Kone[+], boasts a 6000dpi laser sensor with a Tracking & Distance Control United (TDCU), both of which provide much more precision than its predecessor.

One of the key features of this new mouse is the introduction of the EasyShift[+] button, which further enhances the capacity to choose between configuration options.

To improve the gamers' comfort, ROCCAT has made it so that the Kone[+], which offers a 10.5 megapixel resolution and 1000Hz polling rate, keeps the highly-praised hybrid shell, but with several changes: the mouse wheel is "completely new", the wider design makes it "easier to control", the button above the wheel has been made larger and there is now a toggle switch below it.

The Kone[+] also allows you to assign two different functions, such as macros, to each button, including the mouse wheel, which allows you to have a total of 22 functions available at any time, instead of the usual 12. You can also customize the weight of your mouse, thanks to 4x 5g weights, to adjust it to your preferences.

You can find more info about the ROCCAT Kone[+] here, or by checking the video review below:

The ROCCAT Kone[+] is already available in stores worldwide with a recommended retail price of €79,99.

a friend of mine has it... the mouse is orgasmic (if you can say that about a mouse), but yes, it has the Z-Axis Problem, but from what I've heard they're tryin' to fix the problem, so maybe if we give them some time they'll solve it; other than that the mouse is PERFECT.

lool, this guys don't understand that gamers, almost all of them, want a simple, 3 to 5 buttons, mouse.. stop trying to do diferent, usualy diferent is better, but in this case, you just have to base your mouse design in the 3.0, 1.1 or mx, that's it. no 10000000000000 dpi's mouse needed, plz

This mouse looks well made.. if you compare the buttons to a razer dA, a xai or some other mouse it looks much better. But still for fps games it looks very big and with to much junk, and price don't helps really.. this is the kidna of mouse that that mooding dudes have, to match with the computer. Offtopic: 1.1 + ss grip. And you have a pro mouse. Somebody can explain me why the 1.1 from zowie costs almost 70 euros? The normal version costs 14€ with 7 euros you got the anti sweet pack that for me is the only problem of the normal version.

no dude. i searched about it.. the only thing they switched was the paint and the skates.. what can cost you only 15€ max.. you buy a 1.1 normal you can get it for 10€ to 14€ mas you buy ss grip for 5€ or 7€ max and the saktes for 5€.. it won't be as pretty as the zowie 1 but will be the same mouse.. i don't think that a 1.1 should cost more than a razer da only because fo the painting. From 14€ to 60€ its a lot.. it costs the same as a xai or razer da. It woulded be pretty stupid buy this mouse instead of those two. x)
