The Dreamteam for World Cyber Games has ended and it is time to hand out 10 prizes from SteelSeries.

Natus Vincere once again claimed victory at a major event and once again the Ukrainian players made a big impact on the various teams in our Dreamteam game.

10 prizes from SteelSeries would be handed out this time and a total of 6,167 teams participated in the race to reach top 10. The top 10 rankings for our WCG Dreamteam game, including prizes and owners is listed below:

Is there any changes coming to DreamTeam? Since playing is nice, but sad fact is, if you don't catch already first round good players, it is quite sure you don't win anymore, unless miracle will happen( eg fnatic.GTR plays 0/14 and your NoobClan playerA plays 30/0 matches). You don't win anymore because in 2nd buy round, the highscore leaders has now money to buy/switch even better players and you lose even more from switching, you can forget winning anymore...eg i could say if distance to lead is more than 20-30k, you are OUT. ofc idea is to find DREAMTEAM, but it would nice to have challenge longer than 1st round matches.

its pretty fair sir. Btw there is noone who was top1 since first round to last one. You have to be good all the time to win this.

You are right none is 1st to last, but that comes just if you still hanging on the last rounds. You have to be good all the time to win this. Well better said is "You have to be good all the time even hangon". To win, you need to be Best,..have best team. Basically i would change all economics based on your current amount of money. Example: Tranfers fees: 1 match for team: After 1 match the fees are at their highest, the fees here are 5% of the Amount of your total current money balance + 1% of the total player value. (percents as just example, not accurate) Roles: Hacker: Rating >= 1.2 & Rating <= 1.3: +SUM Rating >= 1.3 & Rating <= 1.4: +SUM Rating >= 1.4 & Rating <= 1.5: +SUM Rating >= 1.5 & Rating <= 1.7: +SUM Rating >= 1.7 & Rating <= 1.8: +SUM Rating >= 1.8: +SUM SUM = (120k/current player value)*1k example with markeloff (from wcg value) plays 1.8 rating: 120k/158149 * 1000 = 760$ example with kuben(from wcg value) plays 1.8 rating: 120k/95801 * 1000 = 1250$ example with mochi(from wcg value, lowest value) plays 1.8 rating: 120k/59800 * 1000 = 2005$ This because it more likely markeloff will get high k/d than mochi. And if less likely player gets same k/d it should be more rewarding.

I was 150th or 200th after the groupstage. Wazorn lost money and glow the one i bought from WMF with peri was nothing near solo. There was 7K difference and there was 1st round stars who was face, moddi, zonic etc. So it was kind of impossible for me to win but you have to struggle to the end. Before the matches first 4 spot i was 50th a rank. At the last round there are 2 or 3 players which made the difference. Kuben, TaZ, Edward. Kuben won 9k, Taz won 10 and Edward 17. I bought starix instead of Edward who lost 6k. Buying Edward would bring me 25k with his role as sprayer which would make me 2nd or 3rd. It would be pretty awesome because i need a headphones or a keyboard but it didn't happen i'm kinda sad for that. Then again allthough first rounds are important you can always come from the dead.

First bought as many WeMadeFox players as possible as they had an easy group, they would most likely win all 3 matches and would gain the most. (After 3 matches it is cheaper to sell players). Then had to pick 1 more player who was not going to drop too much, nr1 did a good job in picking devil but I decided to choose executioners player who would only play 1 match and won't drop too much in value. For the playoffs I bought trace and zonic because MTW was on the easy side of the bracket and would definitely move to the final. And starix and edward because they were in my opinion the favorites for the title, starix is on fire and I expected Edward to step it up in the playoffs. For the final I decided to sell the MTW players because I thought NaVi would win so I bought the best players of FX (Neo, TaZ & Loord instead of zonic, trace and cheap executioners player) who were most likely going to beat complexity with a bigger margin than NaVi would beat MTW. Keep this in mind guys!

People underated other teams, trust me on BO1 everything can happen :) & p00n isn't a big team that can succed to top3 on such events, they where big headed after the victory against mTw and then it went bad on wcg

dear Nomad, sorry to whine again :P but look at the top player of dreamteam IEM.. there are two things wrong with the system First, the bo3 matches should be counted as 1. (ofcourse the players should earn money out of multiple matches) Second, the market should be closed until every group has played 1 match (not every team) Those rules would make the dreamteam more enjoyable to play for people like me who simply dont have the time to swap players after every match. I know this game is based on comperable games that are about TV-broadcasted matches with a very tight schedule. Online this isnt always the case... so it an opportunity to try fix the game. You can stay hardheaded and continue to defend that your system dont need updates since the release of it. But that is simply uncool. You will find proof of my theory in dropping dreamteam activity througout the IEM season. Think about it: the top 10 dreamteam players just buy players of every match that is being played and since it is bo3 they can sell and rebuy players of the next match that is being played. This way dreamteam is the same as the HLTV betting system. Kind Regards, JANN13 PS. I know you do a good job in maintaining this website and so and I like to say 'THANKS' for that ;)

But you present no solutions, we CANNOT close and open the market with a moments notice, we need at least an hour to gather the data, get it run and such, and then we need some time for the market to be open.. I agree with you on the BO3 though, that shouldn't be 1 match, but more often than not BO3 is only in the playoffs where several matches will be played, making it have less of an impact.. I know that the game would be best if we had "rounds" where all teams played once, but it is simply not possible.. However there is an update to Dreamteam on its way that will change stuff, we haven't just declared it perfect and abandoned it, but you must understand the constraints we are working under.

shit! :D i rewrote my comment in a really nice style but since you commented already the server didnt catch it :@ argh point being, im not trying to be unfriendly AT ALL and i totally understand your situation ok to keep in this really messy style: Problem: Dreamteam is like bettinggame, because of bo3 poule stage, it is really smart to swap players after EVERY match. There is no fun in deciding wich poule is strong and weak etc. its just: fnatic plays noob team -> buy fnatic -> wait -> sell, now buy mTw playing a noob team -> wait -> sell Solution: count bo3 as one match (if that is not possible in the system: you could make fees for the first 6 matches)
