Area51 replace ScorpioN

Shakeup in Canadian side Area51 as Maxim "maXwho" Razmy joins up to replace Seth "ScorpioN" Nagelberg.

The team had been handed a relatively fair group for WCG 2010 last month, where they managed to advance onto the playoff stage. However, a loss to compLexity in the following round hindered the team's further progress.

The Canadians were prior to WCG struck by the loss and retirement of their teammate Garett "GRT" Bambrough, who could not attend the event due to his situation with the U.S. immigration police.

It later turned out that Bambrough is unable to enter the country without a Waiver of Inadmissibility

Because of the above-mentioned situation, Area51 called upon the former Blight.ca member Kory "semphis" Friesen to fill Bambrough's shoes.

The Canadian powerhouse had furthermore planned to attend IEM5 American Championship Finals earlier this month, but had to bow down because of "multiple problems".

"Since GRT left there was missing something in the team, the flare didnt seem to be there anymore", Nick "Lalonde" Lalonde confessed to ESEA News.

In order to refill the squad, Area51 has summoned Maxim "maXwho" Razmy, a player who has been around the Canadian scene for several years.

Area51 now have the following quintet:

Tyler "medic" James
Nicolas "Lalonde" Lalonde
Jonathan "n0swal" Lawson
Kory "semphis" Friesen
Maxim "maXwho" Razmy

Dont know the story behind ScorpioN being released. Maybe he was inactive, maybe he didnt care. Back to back roster changes like this are not always a good thing. I can say maXwho is good though. Easily skilled enough to play on this team.

He is actually a damn good player. He always gets snubbed when Canadian teams make it far and goes to play with friends... Good to see he finally gets a chance. I bet he surprises some people who don't have any clue who he is.

fucking raped everyone at WCG canada.. That guy got more MVP and tournament prizes by himself then everyone else combined. He deserved this chance and will do good. btw I think that medic is getting cut too, guy was close to scorpion I think.

true that. i was right behind him at the lan he was for sure on the top 3 of best player in Canada. Only problem he looks pretty much shy and don't talk to much, I think that pretty much explain the reason he got released if not I don't see what else...

i think he's talking about maxwh0, not ScorpioN imo i wouldve released medic, but he seems like a solid communicator and strong in game personality, so that may be more valuable to the team. doesnt really matter, cause Garrett was their most valuable asset, and now he's gone. gl A51

maxwh0 is really good, although i too am surprised scorpian was the one to get cut, although im sure the players know the reasons and it makes sense to them.
