Team Wizards have announced that Cristopher "poWer" Rodríguez has been added to their Counter-Strike division.

The Spanish player had become a free agent yesterday, after x6tence decided to let go of him and three other players in order to pick up the perpetual-play roster.

He will step into the shoes of Jose "YuRk0" Antón Aspas, who has decided to abandon the team to embark on a new challenge and "pursue the goals he did not see possible at Wizards", according to a statement issued by the organisation.

With bet4gamers currently looking for a new player following the departure of David "Kairi" de Miguel, reports in Spain suggest that Aspas is poised to join B4G.

This is the second change to Wizards' roster in less than two weeks, after Omar "arki" Chakkor was added to the team earlier this month.

Team Wizards are currently in third place of their IEM European Championship group, having lost their first match in the competition, against NoProblem!

Rodríguez's arrival leaves Wizards with:

Jesús "oFF" Castillo
José Vicente "Spanisfury" González Moreno
Omar "arki" Chakkor

Well, he can pursue whatever he likes, but I doubt B4G will add him. I will leave my team tomorrow since I want to join fnatic :))))) I wouldn't add him honestly, even spanishfury is better player than him, or maybe FeldmaN will come back :P

Sure but, as said, there is only one place right now for 'higher goals' ::) As for Feldman returning, well, wouldn't it be a bit 'masochist' to be kicked twice and comeback again? Ps: Good luck in fnatic ;P

seems very unlikely to me that they would add GuMmY. B4G really wasn't good at all with him in the team. they need someone motivated, like TalikE or YuRk0.

Nah, gummy is just inactive. When he starts playing again, and praccing with B4G he will be one of their best players I'm pretty sure.

The funny thing is that Wizards are playing IEM (with a decent play actually taking into account their match against NP!) and b4g, which is most likely the team yurk0 will join, are not. I presume the goals are more mid-long terms ones then....

Well, b4g is way better than Wizards. Anyway, the "green team" won't do any damage in IEM so I supose yurko and 90 percent of people would prefer to play for b4g instead of Wizards.

Sure b4g are better taking into account the direct encounters between the two teams and b4g being the Spanish top1. Even though if Wizards fix those 'shaky hands' when reaching or getting close to the (map) win it would be by far more interesting and better for the Spanish competition/scene to have more than just one top team. But for now Wizards have pursued their goals and b4g did not. I do not take into account WCG as only one team could attend whereas for IEM both teams had their chance. Right now b4g have to wait for a competition to show up. Meanwhile, being able to cause an impact or not, Wizards are playing against the big boys which I presume 100% of people would like to play against.

Yeah, you're right about b4g have to wait to show their performance. Maybe for yurko is more important to take part in big events like ESWC and WCG than playing an online league. There is a main difference between Wizards and b4g and that's MusambaN1, in my opinion. So you're right, maybe yurko's goals are more to mid-long term.
