Wiredout 4K to host DH qualifier

4Kings have announced a partnership with DreamHack and will therefore host a Counter-Strike qualifier in the United Kingdom.

The qualifier will take place at the Wiredout 4K event at Gamerbase in Reading, between November 13-14, and will hand out an all-expenses paid trip to DreamHack Winter 2010 to the first-place finishers.

In addition to handing out a DreamHack Winter 2010 spot, the event will will also boast some nifty cash to go along. Check out the prize breakdown below:

Minimum prizes:

1. €1,030 + DreamHack Winter 2010 spot
2. €458
3. €172

Prizes based on a 24-team attendance:

1. €1,500 + DreamHack Winter 2010 spot
2. €800
3. €345

Attendees will furthermore not have to bring along their computers for the qualifier as the Gamerbase LAN center will provide a range of SCAN computers.

That has absolutely nothing to do with what I just said. Whether my country has a CS team, or even the internet is completely irrelevant in whether the UK either has a good scene, or is full of 18 year old British idiots, flaming each other and thinking they're hot **** at CS despite never winning a single thing.
