Deathwish add thundR as fifth
Deathwish have completed their Counter-Strike division by adding the former Online-Kingdom player Christopher "thundR" Bauge.
News first broke in late September when the Norwegian-based team Deathwish announced the acquisition of Michael "mikkis" Sokki and Tommy "syrtekz" Skoglund, the latter as an online backup solution.
Prior to the shakeup, the team had witnessed the exit of Kenneth "REASTEN" Kristiansen and Hans Petter "CLd" Nykkelmo, with Kristiansen making the transition to alchemists Unleashed.
As roughly two months have now passed, the team could today announce that the former Online-Kingdom man Christopher "thundR" Bauge will be joining their ranks as a permanent fifth.
"Finall the day is here! It feels great to finally be in the position to present the final line-up of Deathwish: CS. When we first got a heads up from Christopher that he had time for Counter-Strike and was ready for competitive gaming again we jumped at the chance. We took our time announcing him as our fifth player because we wanted to make sure he was the best man for the job, we have been practicing together now for many weeks. I look forward to the future of our team with Christopher", Steffen "phnien" Willumsen said.
Deathwish now boast the following squad:
Bernard "serpen" Kvalvik
Michael "mikkis" Sokki
Steffen "phnien" Willumsen
Martin "zenith" Hansen
Christopher "thundR" Bauge
The issued press release furthermore states that the team will attend the Norwegian DH Winter qualifier, DreamHack Winter 2010 and The Gathering 2011.
