Alternative drop out of EPS Germany
The Electronic Sports League has announced that Alternative.Gaming have been forced out of the EPS after breaking the league's penalty point limit.
The German team collected a total of 27 minor penalty points, for actions such as insults, wrong player settings and lack of Premium accounts, and one Major penalty point, for using a non-registered player in a league match.
As a result, Alternative.Gaming have gone beyond the penalty limit which sees 35 per cent of the team's winnings being deducted, and have thus been removed from the league.
This is now the second team to be disqualified from the currently EPS season, after mystical Lambda were thrown out due to Gracjan "kappp" Weber being caught cheating.
The removal of Alternative, who were in eighth place in the league, will result in some changes in the standings' table, as it will allow the likes of mTw and You Don't Know Me, both of whom had lost their matches to Alternative, to get closer to the top places.
