The Electronic Sports League have divulged information about the prize distribution for the IEM5 European Finals.

Now, one month later, the organizers have divulged information regarding the official prize distribution for the finals. Check it out below:

1. - $20,000
2. - $9,500
3. - $5,500
4. - $3,200
5-6. - $2,150
5-6. - $2,150
7-8. - $1,500
7-8. - $1,500
9-10. - $1,250
9-10. - $1,250
11-12. - $1,000
11-12. - $1,000
Total: 50,000

The season's total prize purse was announced to $114,400, with $35,400 being handed out to the contestants in the online season. This entails win and qualification bonuses.

The event will see two groups of six, wherein top three will advance to the playoffs. The groups' first-place finishers will go through to the semifinals, while second and third-placed teams will advance to the quarterfinals.
