gob b joins ex-GEELIFE project

Former mousesports player Fatih "gob b" Dayik has announced that he will play one more season in the EPS league with his former GEELIFE colleagues.

The Turkish ace had been without a team after announcing his retirement from gaming in the post-season, this way putting an end to a three-year period with mousesports.

Dayik had already spoken of the possibility of playing one more season, just for fun, and Milad "Milad" Zamiri confirmed on Saturday at the EPS relegation that the ex-mouz star will not hang up his mouse just yet.

The team's line-up is the same which GEELIFE had in 2007, when they reached a sensational fourth-place finish in EPS, before migrating to 360eSports and then Frankfurt's-Finest.

gob b: no retirement just yet

Zamiri did not tell the name of the organisation his team would represent, but it is believed they have already found a home as the Iranian player spoke of a place in the EPS league as a certainty.

Dayik's new team looks as follows:

Sinan "bAuZkA" Cavus
Burak "coLLy" Dogramaci
Philipp "PHILIPP" Reitzmann

Dual Citizenships? I'm pretty sure if you're born in another country, you ARE from that country. I also think these players prefer these flags as well because I've seen Gob B represent Turkey for a while now.

It doesn't really matter where the fuck you are born. If you change your citizenship you also change your nationality. By paper you are no longer from whatever country you are born in.

there is a difference between being "From" somewhere, and being a Legal Citizen of somewhere else. You cannot change where you are "From", you're only born once.

PHILIPP is one of the my favourite German players. He is really good player. gob, bauzka & colly are friends and brothers in spite of Turkish nationality. Milad, i hope he will good for this team because the best igl of the world is in this team. gl guys!!!

go b was a wayyy better fragger than the ones you mentioned and just as good of an IGL.. so with gob b you get one of the best igl's ever imo, and and unbelievable fragger (which most igl's don't do)

gob b = best/2nd best IGL of the world (others may not understand it because only germans know gob b really and can judge his skills of leading a team, its just immense..) PHILLIP = really good rifler when he is motivated and plays a lot MILAD, coLLy, bauzka just good friends of gob and phillip but not that skilled but _very_ motivated and quite experienced (all of them played about 5 EPS german seasons i think) they will be training a lot so it will be no miracle to see them playing@finals and do lots of damage to other german teams

Actually they're all from Germany, a bit weird from hltv.org to make such a trouble just because of the flags. Even the news flag is a turkish one but it has kinda nothing to do with the turkish cs-scene. But if players are from sweden or other countries it seems not to be a problem when they're from foreign countries. Just look at "SpawN" or "zAAz" or the whole eSahara(ex-F2F). There are just 2 originally french players if i'm not mistaken but hltv says: "They are all french broooos!" What's kinda wrong, it's like puting the german flag in front of the players in this newspost. Hltv.org seems to have a problem just with Germany at this point ;)

There isn't actually the flag trouble you refer to, 1) the news feature a Turkish flag because gob b is a Turkish player who plays for Turkey. 2) there are players that like to feature their origins through their flag and HLTV.org, if there aren't any official requests from the teams, like to respect that. Sure that SpawN and zAAz are not known to do this (though they obviously could) but other indeed do, f.e. pita. 3) Taking into account 1) there is obviously no problem with regard to Germany or whatever country as this is an international site.

german eps has just 4-5 teams that are training a lot because nobody expect n!/alternate can mess with mouz (until now maybe) so the other teams are just "chilling" trough the season and hoping that they wont fall in eas 1.div.. gob will lead the team to the finals i think. MILAD also mentioned, that they will be practising very hard because they have lots of time (all of them are students) and they have already organised a bootcamp where they will be playing almost every day in frankfurt.. i bet they will do lots of damage :)

Practise very hard? Didn't gob b want to focus on his studies? Strange thing if things in that sense will be the same but at a lower level team (if playing with friends, that 'fun' factor I presume, is what matters in the end).

yeah actually gob said that he wants to study a lot.. but in the interview @EPS18 relegation with MILAD, MILAD said that all 5 players are students and because of this they have time enough to play a lot and they will be very motivated and already organised a LAN room where they can play every day.. dont know what they are gonna do exactly :) we will see. but you can be sure that gob will still play a lot, he is so addictet and its just his passion. he is still hanging around in teamspeak3 8hours a day ;)

I have seen it. It seems that as gob b knows nothing about Milad's "big plans". Milad is just a windbag who will be overtaken by the reality in a few month. Why should gob b stop playing with mousesports in order to train just as intense?

i think that gob b know about milads "plans" because they are hanging around @TS3 all days together and so on.. why i think gob b stopped playing for mouz but will be playing quite a lot with ex-geelife: all are students: when they have their exam-period of the end of the semesters they can stop playing cs for a couple of weeks just to study. in mouz they had scheduled trainings and events. also he will be able to play under less pressure. a team out of real life friends isnt forced to achieve high prize money or win big events internationally or something like that.. they just can take it easy and just play when they want, practise a lot when they are in a good mood but also can relax when they arent feeling like playing all the time.. they have more freetime and the chemistry in the team will be fine since they all have known each other for ages.. just a few arguments hope u will understand my opinion i dont have the time now to argue more but i could :P little too hard to write in english for me too.. but im quite certain they will practise a lot =)

imo gob b is a world top3 IGL.. phillip played for the german national team and has a great aim and understanding of the game _when he plays a lot_ he is probably a top15 or top10 player of german eps i think.. milad/bauzka/colly are not that skilled they just have a lot of experience since they all played more than 5 EPS seasons as far as i remember.. but they all will play a lot and for this i think a top4 place next season will be their goal and i have no doubts that they will manage to reach it..
